Thanks for the positive feedback am playing Septem ber now will either update later tonight or tomorrow.
Man Utd's two shining stars both scored in this game. Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck who won August's Player Of The Month and Young Player Of The Month awards respectivly showed why they were being honoured as such with this display. Hernandez who is on fire has come out the blocks sprinting. He scored again today with a fine solo effort as he shook off two Norwich defenders to neatly place the ball into the net.
Danny Welbeck who is getting his first real run in the team is paying back Roy Keane's faith in him back as he continues to excel in the league. It seem's last years loan deal to Sunderland has really given him the much needed experience to make at this level.
Man Utd look like they are unbeatable at the moment and proved why in this match. As Old Trafford and Man Utd hosted AC Milan it proved to be a totally one sided affair and a night the Italians will want to forget. The man of the moment Javier Hernandez scored two good goals and once again has proved his worth to the English Champions.
Phil Jones recorded his first goal for Manchester United with a quick burst through from midfield where he played a smart one on one with Rooney to find himself in some space and with enough time to curl one into the top left corner. Nemanja Vidic finished up the game late on with a thumping header which only embarassed Milan further.
Roy Keane like his predecessor decided has decided to use this competition to blood some of his youngsters. The likes of Paul Pogba, Ross Barkley, Granit Xhaka & Ravel Morrison all played apart in this match. Danny Welbeck yet again scored and played well. He really is showing the other youngsters how someone can get from the youth team to the first team with his continued impressive displays.
Birmingham played well after half time and Nicola Zigic could have levelled but was just offside when he netted for the Blues. Chris Smalling was on hand to ensure the Red Devils slayed Birmingham as he got on the end of a Xherdan Shaqiri corner and poked it into the Birmingham goal.
A sensational game today, one that Martin Jol and his Fulham side will be embarassed by all season. Even if Man Utd are the reigning champions no team want's to comprehensively lose by a goal margin this big. Fulham fans spent most of the afternoon with their head in their hands.
Wayne Rooney was in a rampant mood and scored a 23 minute hattrick to claim the matchball. Fulham's Aaron Hughes and Brede Hangeland were all too often left dazzled by Rooney and Hernandez' pace. With United in scintillating form and 3-0 up at halft time Keane decided to put on Ross Barkley and Wilfried Zaha. The two youngsters both managed to score and looked right at home in dominant United side. Zaha was put through on goal by an Anderson through ball and calmly chipped it over Mark Schwarzer. Ross Barkleys goal was a sensational shot from around 25 yards out, and will be one we'll be seeing for a while.
after this game I don't think Man Utd could quite believe how poor Fulham had been.
BATE were no match for an in form Manchester United team who once again looked magnificent in dominant spells of the match. Roy Keane decided to start a strong side with just one noteable inclusion Paul Pogba. The young Frenchman has a bright future and got a chance to show the world in this match where he scored a close range goal. Xherdan Shaqiri had his shot blocked but he claimed the rebound and squared it to Pogba who was in acres of space.
Rio Ferdinand scored from a Nani corner with a flukey header which looked dubious as the replays showed it may have come off his arm. There was however very little protest from the BATE players.
Javier Hernandez once again got himself on the scoresheet as he carries on his brilliant form this season.
View attachment 210571Stamford Bridge was rocking in this game as these two English jugganaughts took each other on. It was Man Utd who took the lead when Mr. Reliable Javier Hernandez headed into the far corner narrowly squeezing the ball past the commanding Petr Cech who couldn't stretch any further. Shortly after Nicolas Anelka restored order by scoring a screamer which this time David De Gea could do nothing about as the ball shaved past his fingertips.
As half time passed both managers would have told their teams that the match was theirs for the taking. Up stepped Septembers Young Player of the month Phil Jones to smash in United's second with another fine header. Chelsea cranked up the pressure on the Red Devils afterwards and spent the majority of the latter stages of the second half in United's half of the pitch. Their hard worked paid off as substitue Oriol Romeu scored a scrappy effort in the box due to some poor United defending.
As Man Utd dropped points for the first time this season against Chelsea it seemed Roy Keane had sent his team out with a point to prove. Sorry Bolton were turned into whipping boys for the majority of the match as the Red Devils display was totally coherant and it looked like the togetherness was at an all time high. Bolton only had themselves to blame for opening the scoring floodgate though as Paul Robinson scored an own goal as a Anderson shot deflected into the goal via his left boot.
Danny Welbeck once agin resumed normal business scoring two good close range efforst before finally setting up Nani who skipped past the poor performing Paul Robinson and fired a thunderous shot into the Bolton goal.
Rampant Rooney will be what the backs of the papers will claim tomorrow. Manchester United ripped through the Greek team and at times looked to do it effortlessly. Rooney grabbed a hattrick and looks like he's in the form of his life so far this season. In fact all of United's attackers have been pretty good this year so far. Nani scored a brace himself and looked to be on a hattrick too but when he struck the post and the ball fizzed out he saw his last chance go squandering at Xherdan Shaqiri replaced him.
Ferdinand scored late on with a header from the back post and really late on the young Swiss winger Shaqiri pounced on a lose ball and whizzed past the Olympiakos defence and cool slid in his teams seventh goal of the game.
Man Utd looked to have kept in touch with their goal scoring form as they scored another five against Mick McCarthy's Wolves team. Rooney who bagged himself another brace today looked in great form and it seem's Roy Keane has found a way to get the best out of him. When he's on the pitch you can tell he's really enjoying himself. This should also bring a smile to the England fans too.
The game was marred by an exceptionally poor start by Wolves who scored two early own goals. First Wayne Hennessey was unfortunate to have the ball rebound off the post and then off him into the goal and then Christophe Berra minutes later was caught in between an Antonio Valencia shot and the goal, the ball rocketed off the defenders shin and out of reach for Hennessey to make it 2-0 without a United name on the scoresheet.
Swansea played extremely well against an in form Manchester United. Roy Keane allowed some of the youngsters a chance to shine and it was Ravel Morrison who got the first goal with a cheeky lob over Michael Vorm. Danny Welbeck scored a venemous shot which would have taken Vorn into the goal had he had any contact with it.
Phil Jones scored a poachers effort in the 90th minute to ensure another good day at the office for Man Utd.
Roy Keane tastes defeat for the first time this season as a lacklustre Man Utd fall victim to a great Liverpool display. Captain fantastic Steven Gerrard scored from the spot as Rio Ferdinand brought him down inside the area. Charlie Adam who partnered Gerrard in the middle played extremely well and will be happy with his performance.
Roy Keane will be furious as his side never got into their stride. Wayne Rooney went the closest but his shot was well saved by Pepe Reina. This is Keanes first defeat and for him unfortunately it is to United's bitterest rivals.
Manchester United continued in sensational form in their quest to be crowned European Champions again. Easily dispatching their Greek opponents. Danny Welbeck played brilliantly and will be proud of his performance. His two goals will add to his fast rising tally and at this rate it could be the young newcomer who outshines Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez come the end of the season.
Nani who played on the left today played extremely well and will be ecstatic that he scored today. A bending freekick which whizzed round the wall and into the Olympiakos goal. Roy Keane looked on with a smile on his face as he now knows his team has pretty much qualified for the next stages of the competition.
Harry Redknapp's men looked to frustrate the Red Devils today and with their sleek passing play and wonderful tackling it certainly did the trick. Ledley King powered in a beautiful header in the 14th minute which was soon cancelled out by Anderson's curling shot in the 17th.
Late on it looked like Manchester United had sealed the three points as Javier Hernandez scored in the 88th minute. Tottenham however piled foward and Rafael Van Der Vaart scored a 25 yard shot which fizzed past the United defence and straight into the Red Devils net past De Gea.
The Britannia Stadium saw a bore fraw played out today which failed to live up to any expectations. Stoke's closest chance was a Peter Crouch header which bounced back off the bar and away from danger. Man Utd's best chance was a Granit Xhaka shot which was easily and safely dealth with by Begovic.
Roy Keane will certainly be unhappy that his side have lost points in their last two consecutive games and will want a return to winning ways soon. Stoke will be pleased with their performance and can take many positives away from the game.
That man Danny Welbeck got himself on the scoresheet again today, he linked up with Tom Cleverley who sent in a perfectly laid out through ball for the young striker to thump into the Sunderland net. Wayne Rooney played well and was unlucky not to have scored himself.
Nani scored from another freekick today this time sending the ball over the wall and then crashing into the crossbar which fornutaely sent the ball bouncing over the goal line.
A strong performance from Milan saw them take all three points in a game which Manchester United really failed to get into. Alexader Pato scored a freak goal when the ball rebounded off Nemanja Vidic sending it crashing into Pato and over the line. However the goal was deserved as Milan were enjoying the lions share of possession and using it well. Nesta soon put his name on the scoresheet aswell as Kevin Prince-Boateng delivered and inch perfect corner for him for head in.
After half time United looked stronger more interested in the game. Nani scored from outside the box which restore a bit of hope back into the Red Devils but in truth Milan were just too strong and never looked like being beat.
After the loss to Milan, Manchester United looked hungry and like they had a point to prove. Roy Keane played a younger squad who have looked to have definately taken their chances. Javier Hernandez opened the scoring in the 2nd minute with a well timed solo effort. Wilfried Zaha scored into an open goal after fancy work from Antonio Valencia who commited the keeper and then rolled the ball into Zaha's path.
The Ecudorian then seized his opportunitys and scored two more after the break. It was positive stuff and he will be more hopeful of a first team start now as his appearances have been a bit sparse so far this season.
The Red Devils have cruised into the League Cup Semi-Finals with ease after picking off a poor Aston Villa side who were with out Gabby Agbonlahor, Shay Given and Stilian Petrov due to injury. The usual suspects scored for Manchester United as it was a usual day at the office for Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez who both scored before half time and leaving the match dead before the second half commenced.
Roy Keane took both of his star strikers off at half time and played Welbeck and Zaha who played well but failed to score. It now leaves Villa out of the Cup and Alex Mcleish looking at the F.A Cup and the League now.
