CM: I am pretty happy with me dealings in the market this summer, in truth it has been difficult due to our financial constraints but I brought in some new faces to freshen the team up and add quality in a few positions and all without breaking the bank. Alex Pearce and Crouchy have been brought in on a free and both add great experience to the team, Puncheon has also been brought in for the same reasons. Mason and Barker both have great quality and enthusiasm so were ideal options to bring in on loan. We unfortunately had to lose Henderson, luckily I had brought Rafael in his place who has a wealth of experience from Italy and Brazil. The Pick of all my transfers is Marko Rog, he looks like a great prospect for an attacking midfielder, I will be watching his development very closely this season.

CM: Mixed bag of results this pre-season, not many games played and I didn't really learn much about the team or what we are capable of. We have an away day at Anfield against Liverpool for our first game of the Premier League season and in truth I don't think we are anywhere near ready.

CM: I am not entirely happy with the squad, I still feel like we lack a lot of quality in certain positions. I do feel though that I have a team that is good enough to stay in this league and I know that each and every player will give his all for me and the team.​
 
You look like you've done well there considering the resources you had available. Just got to survive the first year and then the money should start rolling in!
 
Great season! Knew you could get into the play offs and from there any thing can happen! Some good signings too! CROUCHEYYYY!!!
 
Spent the last two days reading your Leeds story and it was probably the most enjoyable story I've properly read on here! Sorely disappointed at losing the save but I'm sure this one will stay up to standards, good luck in the season!

Yeah not done too bad all things considered, I got 35% of the sale of Henderson for transfers as well. It is going to be tough but I have faith in Mendonca

Cheers mate, I had a feeling we would make the Play-offs but I really thought I would get knocked out in the Final. I really thought Crouch would be a good signing but he has spent 90% of his time injured :(

Cheers buddy, much appreciated :) It was a shame, I was just really getting into it as well. Charlton is much more of a challenge than Leeds was but its more fun that way!

CM: So we kicked off our first season back in the Premiership since 2006 with a goal bonanza which we unsurprisingly lost to Liverpool at Anfield, it was a great game for the neutral and fantastic to see Igor get a superb hat-trick in his first game of the season. The draw against West Ham was another frustration as we had the better chances but just couldn't finish. It was nice to get a convincing win in the COP and more importantly get our first competitive win of the season. Lastly the win at Burnley was really pleasing, our first win in the League and Vetokele gets a brace to take his tally to 5 in the league. All in all I am very pleased with the start we have made.

CM: What a blistering start to the campaign from Igor with 6 goals in 4 games. If he can carry on this great goal scoring form than we will have no problem staying up this season.

Cheers dude, quite happy with the start we have made. He was a regular scorer last season but I wasn't sure if he would cope with the step up, proved me wrong!

Yeah keep up that type of form throughout the season and you'll easily survive!

I find that if you get promoted and trust your main striker from the championship, in the prem, they will do well... but it's whether or not to take that risk, especially when there are some good strikers available! But good choice to have faith in good old Igor!
 
Nice solid start mate - Clive looks like he has them ready for the Premiership!

CM: Another pleasing month, unbeaten in the league which is my main focus. I am a little bit annoyed to be knocked out of the COP by Rochdale but I had fielded our reserve team for this match. The draw against Norwich was a harsh on us as we played very well just to have a lapse in concentration and concede in the 90th minute. Very pleased with the win against a very good Stoke side, we were leading until the 87th minute, I thought it was another draw until Sunny scored a screamer, he isn't known for his scoring ability but I will take it. Bore draw to finish the month but I will take a draw over a loss any day of the week.

CM: It was difficult to pick my player of the month as there were no stand out performances, I went with Jordan as he has been very consistent so far this season, he has performed his defensive duties in the middle of the park really well and he also grabbed a goal and 2 assists.​

Cousins always becomes a good player in my saves.. and he always seems to sign for Brighton who become a top half PL team.. xD

Yeah he isn't too bad, I have a few clubs interested at the moment we are looking at around £7-10M so I may have to cash in at that price!

Thanks dude! They really were, we seem to have buckled and started letting in goals left, right and centre! Luckily I have been given a much better budget this year and the squad is much stronger. I will be doing a proper update with pre-season and transfers tonight!
 
2016-17 Season

CM: I have been very busy this summer bringing in the right players after a tough first season back in the Premier League. I was given a budget of £26 Million by the board but once I juggled the finances I had around £14M and £120k to work with. As always loan deals were important and I feel we have secured 3 great players on loan this season in Zivkovic, Arango, Verre and Ambrose, all adding great enthusiasm to our attacking options. Also the free transfers of Ibe and Helenius add more fire power to the attack. Our remaining transfers are also great pieces of business, Timo Horn had a release clause and at £6.75 which represents a bargain, he will be our number 1 for years to come. Bravo and Duarte are both still young and have their best years ahead of them. I am really excited with the prospect of many of my signings and I am sure they will play a part in our future successes.

CM: We had some solid results this pre-season including a great draw against Inter Milan which we should have won were it not for a last minute goal. The real positives have to be the way certain players have settled into the team, some great performances from Ibe, Duarte and Zivkovic have really set the tone for what could be an exciting season ahead

CM: Yet again the board have been very conservative with their expectations and I feel we can push on a at least finish with a credible mid-table position.

CM: We have a pretty easy month to help us settle into the new season, especially with so many new players still blending into the team. I would like to think 6 points in the league is a possibility and we should progress through in the cup without any fuss.​
