Torje is playing... Wow.

The guy looks sensational, another gem Udinese have signed. He's not quite Messi but I tell you what he's not that far off from what he's doing on the pitch.

Awesome signing for Udinese.

Prediction on Palermo vs Inter: 1-3

Fancy Hernandez to grab one and Inter to score 2/3, Forlan to get a debut goal and the other 2 will come from the midfield I suspect.

I dont know how they do it but they surely can pick their players. Torje will either become a cult hero like Di Natale or he will be sold for 20+m. Galliani should take notice of how Udinese do their business instead of signing freebee's and giving them too high salaries.

Torje sure does look impressive. Going to be a big star. :)

Bad news for my team Parma who were trashed 4-1 by Juve. Only a Giovinco pen in injury time spared our blushes and didnt have a single shot on target in the match :(

lol at Inter getting beat.

Thanks will add it into results :)

Forlan didn't take long to score though, his debut?

Alot of standout performances, great opening weekend. Excellent start to the Calcio thoroughly enjoyable.

Add to that list Klose, Cisse and Nocerino.

I refuse to add Lazio players Quasit.

Nocerino did slip my mind so I'll happily add them, Lazio need to show a bit more before I consider them. I'm still reeling from some of their underachievement of recent years.

Putting my impartial hat back on I would certainly say Cisse, possibly Klose.

Calum - It was pretty obvious why, 3-4-3 that Gasperini is persisting with just isn't working out. The personnel he has just don't quite fit into it, it's always going to take time to bed that sort of drastic system in. Very complicated process adapting a club to use a 3-4-3 formation especially after the rigidity of Mourinho.

But Inter were pretty shocking in all departments today, midfield shape was disjointed and the tempo seemed uncontrolled and pretty random at times. They're going through the same phase as Chelsea/Atleti/Roma except Gasperini is going for a 3-4-3 drastic change, I think all of those clubs have reacted and are building for 1-2 seasons down the line. My personal issue is I don't think Gasperini is the right man for the job, I think he's a great coach but Inter need a great manager.

I'm more worried for Inter than I am for Roma after today put it like that.

How did Roma's new boys fair?

If anyone watched them.

Even as a Milan fan I have to say that Lazio looked great. For the first 20 minutes. Then not so much. Klose's goal was amazing.

Aquilani is a slight disappointment. He's just not good enough to take Pirlo's place. Nocerino looks good and will be good replacement for Ambrosini and Gattuso.

Oh yeah, thanks for giving us Pirlo.

Make sure you tell Galliani a big thanks from all the Juventini's around the world, brilliant player.

Parma completely underestimated him, gave him too much space and he just punished them it was absolutely brutal. Giovinco should have sat on him but he didn't and Pirlo picked them apart.

course i did
we played well. the tactic is not completely implemented yet, but i've seen some wonderful movements i haven't seen in a while by the guys. we lack in finishing, that's sure. but i'm confident we're going to sort that out. and we were unlucky. cagliari scored their first in the first chance of the second half and the second one is your average counterattack goal against a 10 men team

anyway, want to know about the new boys?

bojan - 4/10, didn't seem to be on the field, got substituted on 57 min and was not missed. disappointed, i thought he could have changed the team
osvaldo - 5/10, he tried. A LOT. still, wasn't capable to change the game and perhaps wasn't lucky enough
stekelenburg - it's hard to judge a keeper who stands almost workless for most of the match and then lets two goals in. couldn't do much about them, to be honest
borini - 6/10 the guy has got it. he comes in for osvaldo and scores after 10 seconds. that would have meant sudden beatification, if heinze's header wasn't offside. yet, he showed he's got quite the killer instinct
heinze - 7/10, here's someone not ashamed of hitting hard. was good as CB and decent as LB. plus, he was dangerous on set pieces a couple of times. already a fan favourite with the nickname "The Bone Collector"
pjanic - 7/10, in a never-tried-before midfield he did quite well. his only fault was not shooting on a one on one with agazzi which could have been the 1-0
gago - too short of an appearance to judge
jose angel - 8/10, would have been 9 if he didn't help conti score and 10 if he wasn't sent of. BUT, BUT, BUT, the guy is IMMENSE. high stamina, good positioning and a technique we are not used to see in what is a "common leftback". i reckon he might be the purchase of the decade for us.

Maxi Moralez was very good for Velez, surprised he wasn't snatched up earlier. That said 8m Euros for half his transfer rights is quite a lot.

Yeah we got alot of first team players out now :( hopefully others can step well up because Napoli are a very good side
