I'm with Roma myself, when it comes to Italy.

0-0 vs Inter isn't bad at all.

Just about crossed the line today against Siena, still not convinced Conte's setup is that good away from home especially.

Giovinco won the game for Parma... *Punches the air with joy*

Inter lack something, it's called a system. Clearly replacing the best poacher in world football with Forlan who by all intensive purpose's is more of a CF than a striker didn't work out. Problem is Gasperini thinks he's managing Genoa, Jonathan/Nagatomo/Obi are fine if you're managing Genoa but they will not win you titles at Inter.

As for AC Milan tonight, they got ran off the pitch by a very good and clinical Napoli side. Very impressive counter attacking display from Walter's men, Milan's CB's have almost conceded in the first 2 games what they conceded in 20 games playing together last season...Clearly Allegri has problems.

El Matador does it again, 4th hat trick in 19 games. All of his goals were World Class finishes as well.

Atlanta and Udinese very much work in progresses, Lazio to an extent but they were poor. Fiorentina are in BIG trouble, Cerci's heads in Manchester and Montolivo's is in Milan/London.

Well not glad with Milan's start, but at least we are doing better than Inter. They just lost 3-1 to Novara. Expect to see sacking soon.

Too easy to say he's out of his depth, Gasp did a magnificent job at Genoa and that shouldn't be forgotten. But the problem is the people who appointed him, baring in mind this guy was 7th choice to succeed Leonardo, didn't fully take into account his style/Inter personnel. Too easy to blame Gasperini, he simply knows how to coach 1 system and he's tried to the best of his ability to implement the system. It clear as day hasn't worked out, that's obvious, but I put 90% of the blame on Moratti and the directors who appointed him (Branca's hands are clean on this). You hire a guy who uses and adapts quick, versatile, young, energetic players into a 3-4-3 system and give him a team with the average age of a bowls team then clearly that's a mismatch from the get go. You then sell the quickest player on the team and hand him Forlan and Zarate yet still not lowering expectations. Telling the fans the Scudetto will be back in the right trophy room at the San Siro then signing a bunch of unproven players is clearly a strange weighing up of expectations. The people who appoint Gasperini got it wrong just like they got the Benitez appointment wrong last summer.

Not forgetting he's playing with NAGATOMO and OBI who clearly, clear as day, are not anywhere close to being ready to challenge for Scudetto's. Difficult job but Inter got this appointment completely wrong, the next one I hope will be better for Italian Football's sake.

My bet - Luciano Spalletti.

Gasp will do well, probably end up at Palermo.

No. Gasp = ****. Simple as that. When players are not used to 3-4-3 it is common sense that as a manager you should find a way that suits your player, not other way around by forcing them to play in a system in which they can't.

Zanetti and Cambiasso as CM pair and Sneijder starting very deep as a CM, well Sneijder was pushed ahead in the last mins against Roma there was instant impact but still he did same mistake again.

Pazzini is proven goal scorer but he still persists with Milito. FFS. Milito is as good as washed up. Zarate was very good when he came on as sub against Roma where as Milito was ****, what happened next match? Same old. Milito started ahead of Zarate and Pazzini.

Also, they were desperate for goal against Roma he took off Forlan who was their best attacker and brought Muntari. That alone is Sack worthy.

I said he should be given at least this season then we can judge, but looking at the things going it will be very early.

Oh and Ricky Alvarez was not even on the bench. Sigh.

Reports from top Italian journo @tancredipalmeri that Gasperini to be sacked as Inter coach later today. Another one bites the dust

i'm against early sackings of managers. ****, we got out of europa league and haven't scored yet in the league, but i don't think it's a good reason to sack luis enrique. seems like one bad season may destroy all the work of clubs, but it is clearly not like that. i agree that getting off CL spots is quite a sport drama (and financial fair-play amplifies this in some ways), but it's not as bad as getting relegated. i would have given him time. but maybe i'm not touched by the team performances because i'm not a inter fan...

the weekend's results:

...aaaaand we won one. it was about time, i'd say. the match wasn't really impressing, the defence was still under too much pressure at times, the forwards didn't have plenty of chances, but in the end we got our first three points of the season. luis enrique was quite happy and i reckon we fans have some reasons to be happy too, if not just for the points, that bring us at a quite reasonable -3 from the top, but for what the guys showed after osvaldo's goal and long-awaited-machine-gun-celebration. for fifteen minutes the team worked like a clockwork, with short fast passes and good movements, even if we didn't create CCCs. then, in the last 20 minutes, the guys were clearly running out of gas (which is something we need to work on, cause if you don't score twice or thrice there's always the chance of letting one in at any moment) and parma threw the kitchen sink on us, luckily without any result. now all i want to see is Lamela playing, but i guess we'll have to wait october 16th against, guess who, lazio, to see him on the field.

btw, same points with lazio and milan and one more than inter. sounds like this slow start didn't do too many damages

Get in!! Maggio's a beast.

That's a brilliant team goal from Napoli, 3-0 Hamsik.

really shocked at how Inter have turned into a woefull team after the treble winners of 2010.
