i guess he'll go somewhere else to play another couple of seasons. near his home place, i reckon, so maybe treviso in serie B would be a great idea, if they get promoted. or his former team padova, if they don't get relegated

AC Milan 3-0 down at half-time to Lecce.

What. The. Actual. ****?
Boateng just wow. Great second half peformance by milan and two screamers by boateng, They are looking as strong or even stronger than they were last year, but the whole league has become more competitive especially at the top so they are gonna have to keep this up.

Nice result today from Milan. 4-1 against Parma. Ibracadabra scoring one and Nocerino getting hattrick.

Juve are leading by 2-1 against Inter. Inter played better but Juve are way too clinical than Inter. Maicon goal was top class. Very open game and very entertaining.

Sad stuff about Cassano...Some Italian media are reporting that he suffered a stroke on Saturday night, and and it has affected the blood supply to his brain. He may never play football again. Not confirmed, or denied by AC yet, though.

Also about Gattuso who is now blind in one eye (got diagnosed with sixth nerve palsy), and he will be out for 4-6 months, until it is hopefully a lot better.

I thought he just felt unwell on plane back from Roma and went to do some tests in hospital. Hopefully not true cos he's been on quite good form this season and there's plenty other injuries hampering Milan.

It seems Milan need to go in market to find Gattuso replacement in january rather than next summer. Hopefully he's eyesight returns.

Yeah, that's what everyone thought, but it seems not. Well, yeah hopefully they're both ok.

wft. serious. why dont cassano just retire already. it pretty severe to have stroke, and will take time to comeback.

and wtf too on Gattuso. now a blind man. (reminds me of Gloster in King Lear by Shakespeare )

Serie A is still boring, in or off-pitch.
However, the goals are still worldclass

Spurs are preparing to offer Juventus striker Alessandro Del Piero, 36, a chance to finish his career in the Premier League.
