Calum, why dont you class Parma as a world class team :P

Is the fixture list released yet? I was looking on Parma's site and couldnt find them. Possibly because i dont speak Italian too well.

Should be interesting to see how Gasperini’s 3-4-3 formation works at Inter. Personally I think Inter will win the title, hopefully without Sneijder though ;)

LOL and the fixtures are released on July 27th

Always loved Fiorentina myself, with a soft spot for Juve, Roma and Parma too. Was shocked to see Sampdoria relegated last season though

I actually dont like it. Its a bit in your face....
Thats mainly because I dont like Juve....Poaching our players... Buffon and Thuram...

Thanks for news on fixtures Calum :)

That kit is the ***.

Anyway, I don't have an ongoing knowledge of recent Serie A football to make this call, but I'm determined to watch more foreign football next season

Well the Serie A can be quite boring at times. Have you watched any South American football? Great chance to see the up and coming talents.

Hoping for at least a top 10 finish this season(parma), possibly push for Europa League. Making good progress under Ghiradi and hopefully it stays that way :)

Going to be following Juve this season as i am doing a good fm save with them, hope they do well

Could Sampdoria be back in Serie A?

Samp 'hope' for scandal promotion

Sampdoria could in theory return to Serie A this summer if Atalanta are demoted in the betting scandal. “We can only hope.”
Today 18 clubs and 26 individuals were told they have a case to answer after it’s alleged that an illegal betting ring tried to influence the outcome of certain games on the peninsula for financial gain.
Atalanta risk a points penalty or even demotion from Serie A due to the ‘indirect responsibility’ clause.
“In theory Sampdoria could be promoted in Atalanta’s place, but we don’t want to kid ourselves,” explained Vice-President Edoardo Garrone.
“We are following the situation carefully and we can only hope. In any case, we’ll continue along our plans to create the bestteam possible for Serie B this season.
“If something positive we positive were to come of it, then there’s time to celebrate.”
[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Swiss,SunSans-Regular]Chievo were also referred to the Disciplinary Commission of the FIGC, but Atalanta are in a much more difficult position

with the new transfers (Stekelenburg, Jose Angel Valdes, Heinze, Lamela and Bojan) i reckon Roma is among the contenders. it all depends on how the team reacts to Luis Enrique's style of football. and i guess we should also buy a couple more midfielders because with those we already have (except for de rossi) no tiki-taka is possible

I expect the Rossoneri to win the title again. Don't think Juve will do aswell as people seem to think...

The only league where I watch as a neutral with out caring much about how other teams are doing and all..

Hopefully we will see few more rising stars from Serie A this season..

Eto'o:wub: FTWwwwww.w.....

Theres no question about it which team will win.

Forza Lazio

the Italian super cup is on Saturday, anyone watching?

I hopefully will and even better its a MILAN DERBY !

Come on AC Milan! Hope to get a win from it but Inter are class too.

Roma looked to have strengthened alot, looking like they could be contenders if all starts well for them. I actually quite like Roma...

Juventus have confirmed the signing of Montenegro international forward Mirko Vucinic from Roma.
The 27-year-old, who has cost the Old Lady €15million (£13.1m), has signed a four-year contract.
Vucinic

is Juve's fifth major capture this summer following the arrivals of
Andrea Pirlo,

Arturo Vidal,

Stephan Lichsteiner and
Reto Ziegler.

Ex-AC Milan forward and current Montenegro Football Federation president Dejan Savicevic believes Juve had done well to procure Vucinic's services.
"
Juventus

have done well to take Vucinic, he's a great signing," Savicevic told Tuttosport.
"With him, the black and whites can get back to winning ways. He's a great player, one of the best five or six strikers in the world.
"And now that he's matured this transfer will allow him to take a definite step up in quality.
"He could have gone to
Chelsea

or
Manchester United

because Mirko has the ability to play in big clubs and he deserves it.
"Football goes in cycles, as happened with Milan. After some tough seasons Juventus should get back to being one of the best."

if he plays with the same consistency he showed in the last years here in Rome, i'm pretty sure he'll get some insults in turin as well. i used to love his football, i was a die-hard supporter of his, but in the last season he was really a pain in the a**e when he lost a tackle and stood on the field with his arms on his waist like it wasn't his foult or worse, if he couldn't give a **** about getting the ball back. i know it may sound like sour grapes from a Roma supporter, but i still think he's a great footballer. i just hope he won't find consistency in turin, cause it would be very disappointing tu nurture a player for years and to see him blossom completely in a rival team
