haha, it's not really...all i have to do is having it going in the background and just leave my computer on. :D :D i love this because i look for young talents, make predictions as to how good they can be, then i can check how good i am at predicting after i have holidayed the next 5 years. good way of learning to tell how good a young regen can be :)

Think i'd rather just play the game!

why don't you start with Arrigoni..i would start him every single match. he will turn out to be an absolute monster if you do that.

I got him when he was 16; he was a pretty awkward skyscraper back then that was pretty useless except for in the air. But he's had plenty of minutes since joining and he has definately cemented his first team spot by now. Screenshot at 20yrs old (notice how his value went from 11m pound to 16m in 1year):

I also found this monster (16yr old 201cm 90kg 17jumping lol); because of his limited marking/heading/positioning and decent passing etc, i'm thinking he will be best to use in a defensive midfield position. Do you guys agree? He's a natural CB and accomplished DM (without training for it); should i start training him to be natural at DM asap or should i just let him develop and train him to become natural at DM at a later age? Any tips much appreciated.

You can easily train him to become a really good DM just like you could train him to become a really good CB. i don't really know what he's best at. He's really good at jumping which is a better attribute as a CB, but at the same time his work rate, tackling, passing and creativity suits DM well. It's up to you, really.

i'd train him primarily as a defensive mid, especially if you use one..i say this purely because of his passing..i am willing to bet he will be a world class deep lying mid with a defence duty..he will get a fair few assists as well..and if you put him in the right position, he can get goals from corners..i just think his passing would sort of be wasted as a centre-back..you could use him as a ball-playing CB..but still. DM imo, but up to you ultimately :D

Tnx for the replies; the more i look at him the more i'm convinced to use him as DM. High passing/creativity should allow him to set up plays, he will hopefully develop a decent longshot, workrate/bravery/stamina/determination to boss everyone around, and his lack in pace won't get exploited by fast opponent strikers the way it would as a CB.
Should i start his DM training now already to get natural asap, or give him a few years to develop as much as possible since he's already accomplished DM without training?

start training him now so he can be natural asap...and use him as much as possible too..if only as a substitute.

Okay so I am doing the San Marino challenge. In my second season I got the best regen I have ever gotten. Here he is.

As he is only 15 years old (Will be 16 in a week and a half), when can I start playing him on my first team? I was thinking of using a formation with 3 strikers and he would be the third. Can I start playing him on my first team or will it do damage to his development by throwing him into the fire at such a young age.

Last season, he came off the bench in two cup matches and a league match, and he scored game-winning goals in the cup matches as well as picking up an assist in the league match. He also was scored twice, as you can see, for the San Marino U-21s in only two appearances.

He has the potential to be a good Serie A striker, but if I start him in Serie B, will that mess up his development?

Managed to sign this Guy at the start of the second season. Looks a very good prospect. Sent him out to feeder club Leyton Orient to ensure first team football which he was unlikely to get at my club :D

View attachment 259852Well here is one of them, i bough him for 950k as the youth acadamies of liverpool FC only managed to produce quality ****, but i did get him from my affiliate club Genk, so its close enough i guess, and im aware of that this is not close to being as good as the players other people show of but he is one of the 3 good regens i have

Which position would play this guy?

You can shape him into what you want. If you want him to be a winger you can make his crossing better. I personally don't really know. His teamwork and creativity are not that great if he wants to be a playmaker so I'd put him on the wing personally, or maybe play him as a traditional AMC.

You don't want to start him in every match but you can start giving him some playtime already. If you give him too much there is a risk he will burn out so I wouldn't throw him into the fire quite yet. Ease him into the first team.

The next Cristian Vieri apparently :P.

Scored 8 goals in 3 starts this season (4 in one half in a friendly against QPR, league cup hatrick against chelsea and a goal in the Sunderland derby :D. The best of my promising bunch. Ill post the others later.
