My two star u-19 players. Planning to give Sami Coudert playing time next season in the senior side. Not very sure how to develop Thamond. Never had a 4.5 star GK on my hands before and I don't wanna mess him up. Any advice for what i should do? thanks.

For GKs it's difficult to aide their progress until they're 18. I would put him in your youth side (if they play in a youth league) and once he hits 18, try to loan him out to a club that will give him playtime. That's if he isn't your best keeper by then :).

Both look excellent. Awesome physical for a 16yr old CB and good overall stats allocation.I dont really think it's possible to mess goalie's up 8-| (except by ignoring them). I'd keep him in U19's till he's 17, then put him in main team and make available for reserves without any other goalies in reserve team (or available for reserves) so he gets to play all reserve games + giving him as much playtime as possible in mains in easy games.

Two recently signed future definite first team players:

Leandro will be one of my next gen's CM bosses (very happy he's already a starter at Fluminense); van de Stelt to be my future AMC.

And some possible future first team players, depending how well they develop:

The only reason Milinovic & Kinsella aren't starters is because my starter strikers are better. However with Hofman at 29 years of age now and having suffered some injury setback, maybe at the end of the season i will let him go and give one of these young lions his spot.
Osagie's physique is not where i'd want it to be @ 21 years of age. I put him on loan at AC Milan to give him some more time to grow, but i'm not convinced he'll make it to my first team. On top of that, he's refusing to retire internationally (which i ask from all my african players, a lot of which comply) so that's not helping his case.
Manceau probably will make it to my first team in a few years, unless i found some crazy prospects before then.
And Rangel... is Rangel. He'll probably be in my team for his entire carreer as a backup to strikers and AMC. But if he grows enough he just might become a starter.

I am thinking about selling Mandanda. Putting ter-Stegen as first choice and Thamond as back-up...need to make some money..after that massive 58M signing.

As Khiala said I don't think it's possible to mess up GK. Ive had my 2nd string GK on my bench giving him cup games and the games against weaker teams and he's progressing well.View attachment 268038

(In case anyone notices; the reason my game date is earlier that my date game yesterday is because windows automatic updates made me lose about 2 hrs of game time. Thank you microsoft.)

Wow Khiala you're bossing the GK position, how do you intend to keep all 3 happy? Since GKs can go on playing great well towards 40.

I too have bought 2 regen keepers, 1 I forgot to post earlier and 1 I just found and signed. It'll be an easy decision though, If the English GK I've got doesn't learn spanish in his 2nd year at Sociedad, I'll sell him for massive profit and use the Argentinian since he obviously knows Spanish :P

Just signed:

Moved them to my B team for 3 reasons:
- Delfino needs Spanish Citizenship (1 year longer on it)
- Thommen isn't in my first team plans
- My B team are Always 1st or 2nd in Adelante and it provides a good source of experience, though less than I expected.

Fuska (the oldest one) has been unhappy at the club; every few months he complains for a new challenge so at the end of the season i'll sell him for max profit and keep the other two on. Old trees must die for new ones to grow :p.

Stole another gem of a player from Bayern Munich's u-19s team. But this time it was for a very reasonable price. Has the potential to be better than James Rodriguez, so I am quite excited. Also an update on Gustavo Flores, who's improving technically, but composure and pace not going up :(

His pace, agility, acceleration, anticipation, composure, concentration, creativity, decisions, influence, offtheball, workrate, and all but 3 of his technical stats (corners penalties tackling) have gone up a point since the screenshot from 9 months earlier :D (and strenght has gone up 2 points!)

I see, good for your 3rd choice then. Just curious; how dominant are you? Since Real are using your THIRD choice keeper, have they waned or have you just become a footballing monstrosity :P?

lol that is quite observant..but since the last screenshot i posted, i don't think anything except the technical stats have gone up...oh well, he probably needs to be tutored by someone when he finally arrives..and i might have to sell Niang or Fierro given my financial condition.

The dominant teams in all competitions have stayed pretty much identical. In Spain, both barca & real have won the division exactly 4 times in the past decade, and atlético won it twice. But it seems to me the game struggles to have top players for every position in every top team. Teams have one or a few positions that are poorly covered. In real's case, the best goalie they have is this guy, so they were very happy to take Cargol on loan:

I see, yeah I often find myself having one well-filled but lacking depth position throughout. Currently it's WBL and AMC; injuries are meaning teams like Dortmund are beating me in the CL :( Think my current team have a curse, doing well in Spain every season but underperforming to a considerable extent every Champions League campaign.
