Blessing in disguise I reckon. Note his positioning and concentration, defensive liability from those stats. Yes they'll go up but not any higher than 12 and that's kinda low for a world class player imo.

Lol, he's 17!!! a long way away from his peak! Of course they will increase..and increase significantly..and he's equally good with both feet, and natural at DR and DL. And his attributes are amazing for a 17 year old. He's a must have for me. I will try and get him after a year or two :D

Hey everyone, could anyone rate some of my regens?

Renke Benbennek (GK) Rodrigo Gómez (RB) Euan Caldwell (CB) Bernat (CB) Joao Dias (Anywhere xD)

The last 2 will be joining next season :)

I see, yeah I often find myself having one well-filled but lacking depth position throughout. Currently it's WBL and AMC; injuries are meaning teams like Dortmund are beating me in the CL :( Think my current team have a curse, doing well in Spain every season but underperforming to a considerable extent every Champions League campaign.

If i would sell my starting 11 (and not buy any players) i'd still have this to field as a team:

And that's after having sold, the past few years, the likes of these guys:

My remaining transfer budget this season is 710 million euros.

i just signed him on a contract because man united were scavenging my young players once again, they nicked a guy, acoring to genie scout had 183 pot, was well annoyed

Im norwich , and got these threw , any idea on if there gonna be any good? I finished 6th last season (2012-2013)

Quinn & Upson look very good, i think both will be 1st teamers in the future, wilks looks ok'ish but his lack of speed & jumping might be problematic for a DMC, Hay doesn't look good... lots of aggression but no defensive stats to support it, and a lot of his potential lies in his set pieces, influence (which doesn't affect his own performance) + determination (which causes players to make better use of all other stats but those are low).

View attachment 268514After two seasons of buttering him up, I finally got my man. Although I did just break my transfer record on a 16 year old :) Previous was 15 million on this guy View attachment 268518

:p Ciganda looks like an excellent AMC, and Kalala will surely develop into a 20yd box killer. Great off-the-ball to move on passes/crosses, his strenght/balance+jumping will be topclass to win challenges and he has the finishing/heading/technique to put it away. Based on his 16yr old stats i reckon he'll be topclass to play in a system with 1 striker, with wingers and an AMC behind him who can make the forward play and pass/cross it to him. "Shoots with power" & "tries first time shots" might be a killer combo for him, but i'd hold off with that till he's developped enough to merrit a 1st team spot, so he can devote all his training time to improving stats.

Benbennek looks like a good overall goalie; no real weakpoints; his eccentricity is really high tho... I hope he doesn't goof up too often.
Gomez has great physique which i find very important for backs, his mental&technical isn't exceptional attacking or defensive but good enough in both. Well-balanced. Low marking tho; try to get it up with individual training focuss.
Caldwell looks a really solid centre-back without weaknesses; Bernat lacks a bit physical but should make up for it with his great anticipation/positioning/tackling/marking.
Bacha, topclass across-the-board, fits my definition of "midfield-boss". Enough physical+workrate+defensive stats to shut opponents down, perfect passing & great creativity/anticipation/decision to set up forward plays, good longshots+technique for when the occasion arrises... Top-notch.
Gomes look decent for a LM but his technical seems so low... His speed probably makes up for his lack of dribbling, but his passing & crossing need to go up a few points to be topclass player. Individual training focuss passing/crossing as much as possible (and dribbling if he struggles to get past players but i reckon he doesn't, especially if he learns "knocks ball past opponents).
Santos i would never play as CM. He's not a midfield-boss ^^. I dont really like this guy... Great pace, sure, but that's about it. Mentally weak across-the-board, technically far from what you'd expect from a AMC (which is the only position i'd consider playing him).
All of your strikers look decent/good, none truly exceptional. It's pretty obvious what each one's strenght & weakness is; it's just a matter of deciding which system you want to play, and which one(s) would do best in that system.

Here's some of my best regens so far. Those from Arsenal are in my most recent save and those from Tottenham are from the previous patch.

I got a few decent English regens in the Arsenal save through their good youth system but they haven't developed that well yet. And some of them lack some important attributes to make them really good. Got a great young English winger that has everything and is really promising, except that his creativity and flair is very low.

Tottenham

Raposa and Jeronimo are without a doubt two of the most insane regens I've had ever. Don't think I've ever seen a more technically gifted player like Jeronimo and he's still far from his peak. I also have a lot of good regens in my Brazil squad already, including this guy but I'm still running with a lot of the oldies.

Ricky Fear came through the youth system and reminds me a bit of Romulo which I sold because of this guy. Had players like Nainggolan tutor him which sent a few of his stats, including his Determination, through the roof. He's probably the new captain in a few years. And since I'm playing a 4-2-4 I can't wait until Rocha and Muralha are in their peak and playing together on top. At 189 cm and 83 kg and with 16 pace and 18 acceleration and 18 strength... doubt defenders want to stand in his way. Muralha reminds me a bit of Raposa from my Tottenham save and is already tearing defenses apart simply due to his speed and off the ball movement.

All of those Brazilians were real bargains as well. Rocha arrived from Cruzeiro in 2015-2016 for £2.6m, Pinga from River in 2016-2017 for £650k and Muralha from Vitoria in 2016-2017 for £4.4m.

I'm not a huge fan of regens though so I'm glad I got players like Gerard Deulofeu, Erick Torres, Carlos Fierro, Kurt Zouma, Chamberlain, Wilshere, Ramsey and Jack Robinson who are either in their prime or just 23-25 years old.

Also rotating Szczesny with this guy. Not sure why but I always tend to find really good keepers when scouting Africa.

nice bunch of players..but why would you rotate Szczesny with that guy? Play that guy every match lol..he's amazing.

haha, that team is just obscene...as is your transfer budget. why are you still carrying on this save?

It mostly depends on the opposition and form. If I'm up against a team that I know will only get counters and chances during set pieces I'll most likely use Szczesny since he's a bit faster, stronger and better in the field. And he sweeps pretty nicely as well.

Because it's still as much fun to find teenie tiny baby-footballers, steal them away from their club, develop them and watch them blossom into my first team. I KNOW all the start-game players; i dont want to build another team with again the same young prospects. If anything i'd consider resigning from Man City and take over a club that's been less successfull... But leaving my training staff, all my worldclass players, my prospects... My stadium that has my name and 96.000 seats, which last season the chairman (patrick vieira ^^)) felt was insufficient and now they're building a new stadium that will also have my name but 123.500 seats.. I dont want to leave all this ^^.

Here's a few of my most exciting prospects, ranging 17 to 21 years of age:
