In my new everton save, this gem just came into my youth system. I still cant believe the resemblance...
I present the next Ashley Cole!

he is going to be ridiculously good. best LB in the world without a shadow of doubt. he's good enough to play in the senior team even now.

Oteiza isnt half bad either your pretty well set there for a good 10 seasons, ive just picked up these guys after a lengthy stats search:

haha i know..Federico Oteiza is an absolute legend in the making..all kinds of teams are chasing him and you can see why..the guy has 16 caps for Argentina aged 19. he is already their first choice. He is truly going to be a legend.

Nice players you've picked up there too..i would be tempted to train that wing back as a right winger, might be more effective there..

does everyone play there wonderkids in the first team, ive got world class youth facilities so would they progress well until they hit say 20? or should i loan them , or play them everyonce in a while?

Giving them as much game time as you can at your club if you have 5* facilities is the best idea - I do a Wenger and play kids in the League Cup and games against weak teams in the FA Cup as well as trying to give my best youngsters three or four league starts and seven or eight substitute appearances in the league, with dedicated training schedules for each individual player and have them tutored, then when they're around two stars send them on loan for a season. If they play regular first team football on loan, they tend to come back good enough to be starting most weeks for me then.

Here are my four top regens on my latest save - took Dagenham and Redbridge from Non-league to Championship in three years after holidaying the first ten years, then I moved to Newcastle near the end of the season and got promotion (they were in the Championship). The first two I signed in my first transfer window - I wanted to consolidate and they cost a combined £14m. Pretty happy with the return from them, could easily sell them for three times that if I wanted to (which I don't).

The next two aren't fully developed - Ziga my scout spotted when I was managing Dagenham so I signed him for £800k. I could have made him a good target man but I am well stocked with strikers, so I've worked on his technical ability and he's developed loads in two and a half years. He's now my first choice attacking mid in a 4-1-2-1-2. He still has one star to develop according to my assistant manager - does that mean most of his attributes could go up by two still?

The second is a striker I got through my last youth intake - very raw but definitely potential to start for me and England if he keeps up his current rate of development (especially as he's given four and a half star potential by my *** man!)
