Really good story so far, and great layout. I love how your continuing Arsene's way of bringing the youth through. So many people seem to just start buying top names when managing Arsenal as they have £40 odd million. Keep up the good work!

September 2011 - Part 2

21st September

*knock knock* "Ermm, you wanted to see me Mr Limpar?" - Steve Rowley

"Ahh yes, come in, take a seat."
"I'm going to cut straight to it. I would like to assign you and your scouting team your next mission. I would like you to find me a new up and coming young goalkeeper who could be nurtured into a backup for Wojciech." - Limpar

"What has sparked this sir? We already have Lukasz and Vito in the first team, with Damien and James in the reserves..." - Steve Rowley

"Well, you see, following yesterdays performance, I fell that Lukasz is not of a sufficient standard for the first team, and believe that it may be getting close to the end of his Arsenal career. Now Mr Rowley, do you understand your assignment?" - Limpar.

"Yes sir. No problem."

24th September

With the youngsters taking charge in the Carling Cup, it was back to normality in the Premiership game at the weekend against Newcastle United. Only winger Alex Chamberlain retained his starting posistion.

After a terrible, injury-plagued start to the season, Arsenal's main man Robin Van Persie finally broke onto the scoresheet. Arsenal fans will be hoping their is plenty more goals to come from their star striker.

27th September

Arsenal's final test of the month was another tough Champion's League tie. Italian side Napoli were set to visit the Emirate's stadium. Napoli were in terrific form, sitting top of Serie A, however, they would crumble at the hands of the mighty Gunners!

28th September

With the month over for Arsenal, they could rest until their next game at the beginning of October against Swansea. Arsenal manager sat down at his North London mansion to watch the draw for the Carling Cup 4th Round be made. The draw set the Gunners up with a tie away to Bolton.

Having already travelled to Bolton and won on the opening day of the season, many are wondering whether Limpar will field a team that we know can beat Bolton, or the youngsters that stormed through past Blackpool. Only time will tell.

----------------------

Arsenal sit 2nd in the Premiership at the moment, still equal on points with Manchester United.

Arsenals goalscoring charts look like this:

Leading the overall charts is Theo Walcott with 5 goals

October sets Arsenal up against the likes of Bayer Leverkusen and a heated tie at the Emirates against Tottenham.
