The Australian national association football team represents Australia in international association football. The team is controlled by the governing body for association football in Australia Football Federation Australia (FFA), which is currently a member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and also an invitee member of the regional ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) since leaving the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) in 2006. The teams official nickname is the Socceroos.
Australia is a four-time OFC champion and AFC Men's Team of the Year for 2006. The team has represented Australia at three FIFA World Cup tournaments: in 1974, 2006 and 2010.
Well for now, Vasily is doing this to get International experience, I thought it would be realistic if he starts at the bottom of an International team, next team he will work for will be a Senior International team though. I will see where this post takes me. If Australia qualifies for the U19 World Cup I will see that out then resign.Excellent stuff! I assume the Australian U19s is a 1 tournament thing?
This was a highly anticipated match, the hosts Japan was bound to draw the largest crowd, and they certainly did with over 2000 viewers. Unfortunately for the home team, they watched their team get outmatched by the young Socceroo squad. If anytime was the time for the Joeys (I have named the U-19 squad the Joeys) to fire up, now was that time as the next loss sees us on the next plane back to Sydney. Australia dominated Japan in terms of possession, having the ball 58% of the time, whilst making 21 shots, 7 of them on target. Next game we are up against our Group stage rival Bahrain, this time a draw won’t cut it. But the good news is that because Australia qualified for the Semi-Final, they have automatic qualification to the U20 World Cup.Cut like a Ninja, Slice like a Razor Blade, Other DJs say "****!", If my Rhyme was a Drug I would sell it by the gram.....
Lets introduce you to Matthias Schmidt (yes it is Neil Oliver, my favourite documenter)View attachment 353882Name: Matthias Schmidt
Dob: 24/03/1976
Place of birth: Berlin, East Germany
Playing Career:
Management Career
- FC Berlin 1990 – 1993 (Youth)
- Borussia Dortmund 1994 – 1999
- Newcastle United 2000 – 2001
- Manchester United 2001 – 2003

- Assistant Manager 2011 – 2012

Matthias had a hard life growing up in East Germany, however football was one of his true passions and he stuck to it ever since. He was first picked up as a youth for FC Berlin whilst the wall still divided his beloved city, but once that wall came down western teams started to scout him. He was picked up by Borussia Dortmund at the age of 18. From there the world got to have a glimpse at what this attacking midfielder could do on the field. His career in Borussia Dortmund gave him a chance to share in the golden age of Borussia Dortmund. Before the team went public Schmidt was traded to the Newcastle United where he began his Premier League career. Didn’t have much success in Newcastle was eventually bought by Manchester United and had quite a working relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson. Matthias has been quoted many times in the media as saying that Ferguson is the epitome of how a football manager should be and he only wishes to emulate him. Matthias came back to Dortmund to finish of his career before being trained as a member of the backroom staff. Before long his name was being touted as a future manager of Borussia Dortmund however given the success of his manager Jurgen Klopp the only chance for Matthias was to make a name for himself, so he left home once again to travel to England, but this time to manage a team that has Premier League potential, just needs someone to make sure that the team gets there. Matthias believes he is the one to do that and he believes he can make Cardiff a team as powerful as the team his mentor coaches, Manchester United. The future is his oyster, will Cardiff be a powerhouse, or is this experiment brought on by Chairman Datuk Chan Tien Ghee going to blow up in his face, only time will tell.
So who are Cardiff FC? View attachment 353899From wikipedia Cardiff currently compete in the nPower Championship, and are currently predicted to win in the top half of the table. Matthias intends on getting Cardiff promoted to the Premier League for the first time in 51 years.

I will post more about first squad and tactics once I play through my series of friendlies and finish evaluating my team. Matthhias intends on evaluating the team as a whole and see which players fit with his tactics and plays well, and those that are deemed not to fit may get sold. Matthias has noticed there is no fitness manager currently at Cardiff so has advertised for the position.
I hope you will enjoy. Although I have been posting an update everynight, that grinded to a halt last Thursday as I have been having limited time to play FM. However I intend on at least completing the next 2 months in the next few days.Great story, following this!
Going great so far
