If Pardew does bring Becks to Newcastle I can see Carroll hitting 20+ goals for the season.

Beckham won't be able to play every game, but more to the point I doubt his best position is on the wing any more. He's at his best dictating play from deep as a regista sort of player.

True, but he'd still connect with Carroll from corners and free kicks to form a deadly partnership. Just not as lethal as he was with RVN at United.
I'd like to see becks back in the EPL, he's one of my favorite players of all time.

Looks like Liverpool are going for youngsters now. Yann M'Vila, the French guy and Watford youngster-Marvin Sordell are being targeted. And for big name transfers, looks like Hodgson wants Per Mertesacker, Daniel Sturridge and Eljero Elia.

Keisuke Honda and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have also been targeted, among others.

Alot of sources saying that Vela is on his way to Bolton on loan. Great news. Coyle will treat him well just like Wilshere. Will all these players, and Wenger and Owen being on good terms, maybe we can ****** Cahill for a cheaper price.

Liverpool have kick-started their January shopping after agreeing terms to sign Hamburg midfielder Eljero Elia for €15 million.
The Reds desperately need reinforcement after a disappointing first-half of the season which saw them end the year ninth in the Barclays Premier League.
A lack of width on both wings has been a well documented problem at Anfield.
And manager Roy Hodgson has pin-pointed the speedy Dutch international as the ideal man to remedy the problem.
The 23-year-old signed for Hamburg from FC Twente in 2009 and impressed in his first season at the Bundesliga club.
But he failed to maintain his form the following year and lost favour with coach Armin Veh as a result.
According to Hamburg daily Hamburger Morgenpost, Elia is already on his way out of the club after agreeing personal terms with the Anfield club.
The transfer fee is believed to be €15 million.

Please do not tell me this is a Hodgson signing.

Cassano officially moved to AC Milan now so Ronaldinho almost certainly out soon imo.

PSG could happen given his love for the club. It's where he made his name, so a return could be on the cards

But he really started his career at Gremio, and Brazilian players tend to spend their last playing years in their home country so i would put my money on Gremio actually
