Goal.com is not a source, never mind a reputable one.

Here in Zaragoza's local press they say that Pennant is already sold to Stoke, and that Da Silva (Sunderland) and Dos Santos (Tottenham) could come here on loan or something.

Anything about these rumours there?

Da Silva is either going to Zaragoza or back to Mexico

Got this off Talksport.net (and its normally pretty reliable)
Everton target Pablo Piatti will be sold at the right price, according to Almeria president Alfonso Garcia.
The rapid forward, who can also operate on the left wing, has been identified by manager David Moyes as the man who could turn around Everton's poor scoring form, according to sources in Spain.
The Merseyside club have scored only 18 goals this season after injuries to first-choice strikers Louis Saha and Yakubu. Piatti meanwhile has averaged a goal every three games for Almeria who lie 17th in La Liga.

If he can score, we should sign him whatever the price lol. Anyone know anything about him-have to admit, know very little except what I've read

According to all these transfer rumours, we're not going to have a midfield left soon. (H)

£100 million for Bale & Modric? Think we'd probably accept that. 8-|

I'd be surprised if Bale was let go. Guy's been in great form

He is pretty solid mate, proberly better than Curtis Davies. Really good in the air this lad.

Clark's better than Davies. We should sell the Ds, keep the Cs: What we need to do is sell off Dunne and Davies, keep Clark, Collins and Cuellar and then get extra competition in. Wheater might fill the gap.

I thought Dunne was doing well for ye?

We will take the D's, there actually has been talk off us making a bid for Davies tbh ;)

He was a superb signing last season, but this season he's been off the pace. Could be him ageing, could be anything, but with Clark coming through he's not as important as he might be otherwise. Still love him though.

Take 'em both! Dunne's a beautiful man (on the inside, mind ;)) and Davies has been unlucky with injuries. Davies is actually a rolls-royce of a player, good pace and decent distribution, he just won't get into Villa's starting lineup. Might well make it at Celtic though.

I actually rate Davies, but you must surely know more than I about Villa players mate. Wheater is in the Terry / Vidic mould (but no where near as good obviously). I'd have thought he would be well suited to a team like Stoke. He throws himself into every challenge, but is probably not as good as Davies on the ball. Would be a welcome addition to Villa fans though, I would imagine

No you're right, I'm a fan of Davies. Blighted by injuries, unfortunately, but recently seems to be getting back to full health.

Honestly Wheater seems a pretty good buy if he's on the cheap: English, too. If we have Collins and Wheater as man mountains and Cuellar and Clark (the latter in particular) as more cultured CBs we should do alright.

I believe that he has played quite a bit for Boro as right back in the past, although he hasn't really looked comfortable out there, a bit like when Cuellar has been forced to play at fullback

Apparently, Daniel Alves is being linked with a move to Man City, according to a City fan on Facebook. He didnt give a source though, cant see it happening to be honest.

My mates an Everton fan on Facebook, reckons they're getting Xavi and Iniesta for Arteta and Cahill in an extraordinary double swap deal.
