you can have him, i'm not overly a fan, he can deliver a good ball in, but he's moody, goes missing in games, he is usually quiet from november - march. then starts playing average again. if you can carry a player like larsson just for a dead ball delivery, he won't offer you much else on the pitch really

The player he'll be in competition with is the opposite - good attitude, work rate and speed, but terrible delivery.

- Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier has confirmed his interest in signing Wayne Bridge.

- John Carew's potential departure from Aston Villa has been blocked due to Emile Heskey's forthcoming suspension.

- Hoffenheim are trying to lure Ryan Babel away from Liverpool.

- Sunderland have made approaches to sign Sulley Muntari and Stephane Sessegnon on loan.

Jeffrey Bruma looks to be joining Hamburg on a loan deal as Chelsea are close to signing another centre back. Gary Cahill being the most likely for a cool 20million.

The cost of English players are massive, also he is a young lad that could play in the Champions League and is proven in the PL,

You could get a much better CB then him for far less.

Maybe, but not English and proven to handle PL games.

i have just watched a programme on ChelseaTV called Paperview were we interview 2 different jounelists everyweek on all things Chelsea and football about the storys that have made their papers and how true it is etc etc.

This week was obviously about the transfer window and when asked at the end to each of them if you had to put money on it how many will Chelsea buy in January and who? The first journelist said 2, Ashley Young and Steven Pienaar. And the second said 1, Gary Cahill. They apparently have pretty good sources so will have to wait and see.

Eriksson hopes for a big arrival

It doesn't say those teams are interested in Elia, Elia said those are the teams he would like to join.

http://www.footballtransfertavern.com/category/premiership/manchester-united a random thing I read on twitter.. apparently United have had a bid accepted for Ninis of around £10 million .. probably absolute tosh.

Yeah probably bs, but rumours about this have been going around since last January so it wouldn't be too surprising. Would be a good signing :)
