The Ultimate Player Story - Discussion

I have just read Leeds' suggestion, If people seem happy with that then that's how it shall run!
 
Woo people agree with me! I'm not bothered how you do it, that secret suggestion option is rather intriguing
 
Just a few Rules I've put together chaps:


1. Player must be born in 1998 to allow their in-game age to be 15/16 at start of game.
2. All players will start with a CA of 70 and CP-8 (or CP -9 depending on opinion.)
3. Each player is allowed a maximum of one Nationality and one Second Language.
4. I will be selecting 1 team from 4 different nations with a maximum of 3/4 players per team (Teams to be anounced)
5. Each player can select their favoured position with a maximum of 30 attribute points (i.e RW – 20 LW – 10)
6. I will allow one ‘20’ stat per player (Injury Proneness not included) All other attributes will be left to the FM gods.


If I have forgotten anything else that people feel is important then please let me know.


The template of Info I will need for player profiles will be up soon.

I personally think it should be set at CA 90 and CP -9, I think 70 is too low compared to the majority of players at that level, I'm not sure!
 
Because regens come around and I think they will instantly be better than our players
 
This is a cracking Idea - I Agree with Leeds howver think C will still work a charm!

All suggestions welcome, if that's what the people want than who am I to say no :P
 
Ok well including myself I think we now have 11 people interested. If possible I would like to keep it to 12 as I will then have 4 teams with 3 players. I would love to accept more but with a full time job, a 6 month old son and a Mrs that insists on spending time with me, my time is sometimes limited. I will however ensure this is regularly updated as now days its the only time I don't share with my family lol
 
And so we dont argue, I think you should be the one to place us into the 1 of the 4 teams
 
I think Lippo would be interested, should he be the 12th?
Considering it's his invention
 
Also guys before I ask for you all to send in the info I need for player profiles I need some suggestions on the clubs and countries involved..

One other thing, all final decisions, rules, clubs etc will not be finalised until tomorrow as I think its only fair that Lippo has the option to get involved in this, its only fair considering this was originally his idea. So I will not be making a start on this story until tomorrow Evening here in the UK.
 
I'm in if there is room! Need something to fill the chairman void!

Suggestion of clubs:
Top Division: Ajax, Southampton, Stade Rennais, Stuttgart, Feyenoord, Roma, Sporting CP, Hibernian, Valencia, Standard, Red Bull Salzburg.

Sounds fair.

Club wise, there's a different variety of options you could take.

E.G
There's the well known academies at a decent level - Ajax
The big club academies - Barcelona
Smaller club academies - Crewe
Then maybe a club that has produced world stars - Sporting Lisbon

With the on above if it was to be done like that you could use a website to randomise and decide which person goes to which club (I could do that if needed)

Or every player starts at a club that are all at a similar level whether they begin at a small, medium or big club
 
I think the 4 clubs should be of similar stature - if we're going with Southampton in England then make sure we don't go Real Madrid in Spain as there will be a clear advantage in regards to breaking through into the team
