Yes, I have read this but if you have tried the in-game scouts and used the comparison tool but really, really still can't decide then just post it here. Please use the template though:

Role:

If you can, please post a screenshot of the player(s) involved (thanks to sammyt for this one). Use 'Alt + F9' to capture a screenshot and look for it in: My Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2011 > screenshots (notice it is in lower case, make a folder if you don't have one already!).

In regards to Pepe and Raul Albiol,I think that Pepe would benefit the most.

Good idea though.

Is anyone going to use this? There's not another thread like this so I don't know why no-one is using it.
 
it's a good thread and i'm surprised no-one's used it, although this is teh first i've seen of it. i would post one but i know my strongest team at the moment.

just a thought but if anyone does use the thread then they should post screenshots of the players they are comparing as, for example, vidic is a better player then evans but in 2014 after vidic has suffered a major injury this might not be the case.

Rotation, but give Santon more games as he will develop into a great defender, like Maicon.

Jones: imo he is a better anchor man, never had Enoh before.
Bosselli: Ba is the better player but would be wasted as a poacher whereas Bosselli is a good poacher.
Tomkins: I see Spence as a Utility player across the back four but not a starter at least not for a few seasons.
Brighi/Matic: Being in 2012 I would need to see screenshots of them both.

Rotate Jones and Enoh. Demba Ba by a mile, play him loads. James Tomkins as CB, although Spence is a good utility man and backup - he can play RB. Nemanja Matic to start, Brighi to get some games.

Kris Boyd to start, but give Lita a chance as impact sub as he is quick and will terrorize tired defenders. Kevin Thomson is a better DM, but Robson is great and should start in CM.

This is a 'Who should I play'...there is a difference! You choose who to play not buy and it saves people posting loads of threads.

Oh, and just to add my opinions are based on them being in 2010, so don't really know about their improvement. Please post screenshots if avaliable (Alt+F9)!

I wouldn't really play Torres as a deep lying cf, his stats work much better as a Poacher.
I've never signed Barnetta but Maxi is getting on a little in age so i would rotate the two untill you can offload Maxi or Barnetta is a more solid replacement for him.
Same as above, although Parker should probably see more games than Meireles.
I'd probably go for lucas over the other two.

They should really be playing together.They dont even play the same role.
Carrick plays as a DLP because he sits deep to deliver balls from his position while fletcher plays as a Ball winning midfielder and he is always trying to win the ball in midfield and break up opposition so I assume your looking to play a midfielder like carrick who supports play in midfield.

Torres, Barnetta, Meireles and Lucas. However, that is based on 2010 attributes, no idea what the difference is in 2014 - you should post a screenshot!

Well, it depends. I would rotate them but when you have a 'big game' play Fletcher as a Ball-Winning Midfielder and when you play against smaller teams play Carrick as a Deep-Lying Playmaker. Fletcher is better defensively, but Carrick has a better passing range.

Remember to post screenshots, guys, as it's really important! If you don't, we might not know who's the best and not give the best answer.
