Hi guys,

I've been reading various posts on FM Base for a while now and I've finally decided to start getting involved myself :D.

I'm currently playing a save with Blackpool, with a Tiki Taka tactic that is currently working very well for me being top of the league after 14 games in my first season, not to mention being on a 10 match unbeaten run!!! Early on in to the season I changed the general team focus training to Team Cohesion and now, many weeks into the season, I'm getting complaint's off of a lot of my players (individually) saying that their training workloads are too low?

Now, not only do I need a solution to rectify this, I could also do with any advice on changing my training schedules to further improve my team / develop my players.

My team are currently:
  • Being trained in two different tactics:- 4-3-3 and 4-3-3 (counter)
  • General Training is Focus: Balanced + Intensity: Average
  • Match Training is Focus: Tactics Only
  • General Player Happiness is apparently happy with the current level of training
  • Overall Workload is Medium
The scheduling slider is slightly offset towards more match training.

If anyone has any advice or questions, please fire away. Thanks!

Could i see the tika taka tactic? struggling to get any tactics to consistently work on fm14 and im using ajax so want something similar :P

i used to just add in positional training to help beef up training, so they'd all be on heavy individual training, then training for the exact position they'll play in, as well as learning a new skill eg one-twos (which are great in my opinion), then if they can play in an extra position, i just add that in as well, if they moan its to high i sell them, no good keeping players that moan, also i'd see what week had my easiest run of games, lessen match prep that week and focus more on general balanced or attacking with prep set at tactics, just to mix it up a bit... worked great for me in 2013, also, try giving your older players a shot at coaching a youngster, see if that shuts em up, if not... sell! 8-|

This is the formation I am playing... with instructions set to: Retain Possession, Shorter Passing, work ball into box, drill crosses, look for overlap, play wider, stick to positions, hassle opponents, get stuck in, use offside trap, and lower tempo.

Thanks for this, I'll implement some of this and have a look at the changes :)
