I understand full well how big negotiations work and the time they take. Mo's contract being a prime, current example.

But the Germans push the envelop and then some with their low balling.

Heh, who low balled Thiago after CL win from Bayern? They let him go as he wanted to go in the end.

It was Bayern’s prerogative to keep Thiago for the final year as we will Sadio if they don’t get serious. Who is worth far more to us to stay next season than any derisory offer thats currently on the table. And certainly one thats completely unattainable with nonsensical add-ons.

They weren’t prepared to let Thaigo’s contract run out and set the price. As we have done here. Thats the difference. They held all the cards then and chose to sell. We hold all the cards now and are quite happy to keep him for another season knowing he’ll give everything as he always has.

The other irony is Bayern want the same as the price on Manes head for Lewandowski. Who is in the exact same situation. (Albeit 3 years older. But still in the last year of his deal.).

They are taking the absolute P right now. If you want him a year early, then pay up.

I’m honestly surprised theres not more clubs in for Lewandowski and Mane.

Bonafide World class footballers at the top of their game on the market for as little as £42.5 million doesn’t happen ever.

You’d have thought more clubs would be all over that steal tather than waiting for a contract bidding war in a year.
 
Honestly, Bayern under new management are a complete mess. First they lost Flick who made them neigh unbeatable, and then key players started to force their way out. Say what you want about Rummenige and Hoeness but those guys knew how to run a tight ship.

@SLBenfica já recebeu a proposta do @LFC por Darwin Núñez. Negócio de 100 milhões de euros: 90 milhões fixos + 30 milhões em objetivos. @Darwinn99 vai assinar um contrato de 5 anos com o Liverpool.

Benfica have already received the bid of 120m (90m + 30m bonuses) and he will sign a 5 year contract
 
If its Liverpool, they can have him. They have the luxury of whiffing a transfer, United dont.

We might be City’s equal on the pitch but we can’t miss on major money signings like they can off it mate.

Our recruitment has to be bang on.
