JUST IN: Manchester United are planning on making a formal offer to RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko in the coming days.

Sesko is understood to be keen on the United project and is not put off by the club’s failure to qualify for European competition this season.

The Mbeumo deal was a difficult one to thrash out with Brentford, but that settlement on paying in three instalments could be key to getting Sesko over the line.#MUFC [
