We didn’t make a mess of it mate. They wanted £75m upfront we managed to get a deal £65m with an additional £6m in add ons. The only thing that we did that I didn’t agree with was the absolute joke of a low ball first offer. It’s Brentford that kept changing positions during negotiations per Ornstein.

The fee was set for long enough before you dragged it out and let other transfers up and set the eventual price.

like i care about any of this your the 1 in a mood

Mood? Aye?

What are you on? 😂😂😂😂😂

Why in the World would I be in a mood when L’pool are having the best transfer window of any transfer window?

You’re the one constantly trying to nark at L’pool.

This is proper weird mate to do something, deny it, then try flip it onto someone else when you get bantered back.

Yeah the fee was set and we got him for less than it. We didn’t drag it out though that was Brentford moving the goals during negotiations. But whatever we got him and got less than what they wanted. Very happy with our buisness so far this summer looking out to be a good window at all levels of the club.

Newcastle are optimistic they can now keep Alexander Isak and are hopeful a compromise can be reached with the striker.(Source: @TeleFootball)

As reported: Not only Newcastle but also Manchester United remain strongly interested in Sesko. Both clubs are pushing and negotiating with Leipzig, as Leipzig boss Marcel Schäfer said when asked by Sky: „We won’t go into detail on that, but when I say that several clubs have shown strong interest and have made approaches, it’s obvious what has happened.

“ Newcastle and Man United – both clubs are fully in! That’s why Sesko was not in Leipzig’s squad today. It’s heating up! New talks to take place later this evening.

on the Benjamin Sesko story at the moment:

"Benjamin Sesko has still not made his decision on his future club, so according to my information and sources into Benjamin Sesko’s camp tell me that the player has still not decided - it’s a really important decision for his career, for his life, for his future and Sesko wants to take his time.

He’s not going to be a very long time, so we’re not talking about deadline day or so according to my information - but Sesko wants to make a decision in the next days as soon as possible when he has 100% clear destination he wants to follow."#MUFC
