EUROPA GROUP MATCH

TOULOUSE 4 vs 0 SIGMA OLOMOUC
We were expected to win, but it was good to get our first 3 points in Europe never the less. Liedson grabbed a well deserved hat trick.

TOULOUSE 1 vs 0 LORIENT
Liedson carried on his good form with the last kick of the game.

TOULOUSE 2 vs 0 PSG
A great win with Liedson getting another.

EUROPA GROUP MATCH

TOULOUSE 2 vs 1 HSV
A good win, but could have easily of been a different story. Liedson scored again and Cristaldo eneded a recent drought.

LENS 1 vs 1 TOULOUSE
A shame we didnt get all 3 points but i am happy with a point. The young Italien Verratti opened his account for us.

TOULOUSE 3 vs 1 SOCHAUX - MONTBE
Gignac was unstoppable today and maybe will be disapointed he didnt scroe a few more.

OM 2 vs 3 TOULOUSE
Best win so far and our strike force is really proving to be something special.


Another great month, and teams are fearing our strike force.

TOULOUSE 3 vs 2 GALATASARAY
We were 3 up and they were reduced to 10 men but still nearly came back, i wasnt to happy at the end of the game with some of my team.

TOULOUSE 1 vs 0 STADE RENNAIS
Gignac made sure we got the three points today.

NICE 0 vs 3 TOULOUSE
A very good away win. Again our three man attack is looking very good.

TOULOUSE 3 vs 2 Le Mans
Being behind until the 89th minute told me alot about my teams determination. This win also keeps up our undefeated home record.

TOULOUSE 3 vs 1 USBCO
A convincing win against a team we should beat convincingly.

A very good month for the team. The Stadium Municipal is a real fortress at the moment.

DECEMBER

EUROPA GROUP MATCH

SIGMA OLOMOUC 1 vs 2 TOULOUSE
A good win as we need to beat this team if we want to qualyfy, we aren't sitting to badly at the moment but was important to pick 3 points up here.

Infact news just in is that Galatasary have beaten HSV so our last game does not matter anymore. We could still win the group but must beat HSV.

GRENOBLE FOOT 38 3 vs 0 TOULOUSE
Not alot to say about this apart from poor, poor result.

TOULOUSE 4 vs 3 MONTPELLIER
Are defence is leaking badly at the moment, and only late goals from Cristaldo and Fofana saved us today.

HSV 2 vs 0 TOULOUSE
We were beaten by the better team today, but we had already qualified from the group. Would have been nice to come top of the group but i am happy with 2nd place.

AUXERRE 2 vs 1 TOULOUSE
Another defeat, this slump has come at a crucial time on the lead up to christmas. Not what i was hoping for.

TOULOUSE 2 vs 2 BORDEAUX
Not a bad result against one of the big boys, shame we missed the penalty which could have gave us 3 points.

A strange month and gives me stuff to think about other christmas. Obviously pleased to have qualyfied form our group and also our home form has been very impressive.

Lacina Traore has joined on loan, Liedson is injured for a few weeks so Traore will be expected to fill his void.​

Traore and Badelj both score on their debuts.

Dissapointed by only scoring two and our fans booed us off.

Not the most interesting game and after Cristaldo's early goal i was expecting more.

Our first home defeat comes at the wrong time for us.

Greta double from Otamendi and Cristaldo finshed the win.

Great win for us and gives us a nice two goal lead to take into the next leg. Was a disapointment to conceade the away goal.

PSG 1 vs 0 TOULOUSE
Goal in a few seconds didnt help us, and new man Vida picked up a red card.

EUROPA 1st KNOCKOUT ROUND LEG 2

FC KOBENHAVN 3 vs 5 TOULOUSE
What a game!!! for the neutral probably the game of the season. Liedson's late double slavo was brilliant to watch. Through to the next round.

TOULOUSE 4 vs 1 LENS
Great way to end the month, we are scoring for fun at the moment, the impressive Annan getting a double here. Lens being reduced to 10 men changed the game in my opinion.

Great month and we continue our march through Europe.

After getting back from going down early we should have helg on, but a moment of madness from the usually reliable Masiella cost us 2 points. O well suppose you cant complain for 24k.

I knew this was going to be a tough game and i am over the moon we didnt concead an away goal. Cristaldo has given us a valuable lead we can try to protect in the 2nd leg.

FRENCH CUP 11th ROUND

TOULOUSE 4 vs 0 MOULINS
Alwyas hard to judge how well you play when playing teams like this. The lads were expected to win and they did, and i am happy we are through. So i suppose that all that matters.

EUROPA LEAGUE 2nd KNOCKOUT ROUND LEG 2

DYNAMO KIEV 0 vs 3 TOULOUSE
I wasnt expecting this, Liedson put on the performance of his life with a stunning hat trick.

This game had extra time all over it untill the two late goals we scored which had me jumping down the touch line.

I hate games like this, luckily we havent had many of them.

Another great month and i am dreaming of lifting the french cup in my 1st season.

We draw Ajax in next round of the Europa League, the bookies have made it look mission impossible for us.​

EUROPA QUARTER FINAL LEG 1

AJAX 0 vs 2 TOULOUSE
My teams performance surprised everyone includeing myself who had admitted before the game that it would be an uphill task. Liedson has been brilliant for me in Europe this year and today he was exceptional again.

USBCO 1 vs 2 TOULOUSE
I dont rate USBCO and i am glad we took the 3 points.

EUROPA QUARTER FINAL LEG 2

TOULOUSE 3 vs 1 AJAX
The result was never in doubt and again my team surprised me i nthe way they completely dominated a good dutch team.

TOULOUSE 3 vs 1 GRENOBLE FOOT 38
The midfield partnership of Krivets and Annan was to much for Grenoble today and we were clear winners.

STADE RENNIAS 0 vs 2 TOULOUSE
A great away performance which still leaves us battleing in 3 competitions.

MONTPELLIER 0 vs 3 TOULOUSE
Annan bagged himself another double and we are right on the tale of league leaders Le Mans who we have in our next match.

LE MANS 2 vs 1 TOULOSUE
We never looked like winning this game and Le Mans step closer to be unlikely winners of Ligue 1.

EUROPA SEMI FINAL LEG 1

TOULOUSE 2 vs 0 ATHLETIC BILBAO
Another great European night for us and i feel like i am living in a dream world.

TOULOSUE 2 vs 1 AUXERRE
I was worried about my teams fitness levels as we are being pushed to the limits this month, but the lads did very well.

TOULOUSE 2 vs 1 LILLE
Put out a weakened team here to give some players a rest for the Europa game, but my reserves didnt disapoint me.

EUROPA SEMI FINAL LEG 2

ATHLETIC BILBAO 2 vs 1 TOULOSUE
We didnt play very well tonight, and it looked like it was heading for extra time, but that man Liedson come up with the goods yet again. But i dont care i am off to a European Final in my first term as manager.




A very busy, but successful month for us. The Ligue is getting away from us but we still have a chance, we just have to keep winning and hope Le Mans slip up. We have to massive gaems against Lyon coming up now. They are sitting in 3rd just behind us in the Ligue, then we have them in the semi final of the Coupe de ligue and also in the Europa final.

BORDEAUX 1 vs 0 TOULOSUE
Just when we need to keep a perfect form in the ligue we drop 3 points. Its going to go right to the wire.

FRENCH CUP SEMI FINAL

TOULOUSE 1 vs 2 LYON
After taking the lead i was devastated to loose it in extra time. We gave them a good run for thier money but perhaps they are just to good for us. Not good for our confidence going into the Europa Final.

SAINT ETIENNE 0 vs 0 TOULOSUE
zzzzzzzzzz and could have cost us the ligue title

EUROPA FINAL

TOULOSUE 2 vs 1 LYON
We hadnt beaten Lyon in three previous matches but we just wanted it more tonight. Perhaps Lyon showed more berves or we were just simply better on the night. What ever the reason i am over the moon.

TOULOUSE 1 vs 1 MONACO
Maybe suffering a hangover from the Europa Final my lads werent up to it today but a point means if we win our last game we still win the ligue thanks to Le Mans slipping up.

TOULOUSE 1 vs 1 MARSEILLE
Beating Marseille was never going to be easy and when Otamendi got sent off the task got even harder.

SEASON 2009/2010 REVIEW

I am living in a dream, French Cup Semi Finalalists, missing hte ligue by 1 point and winning the Europa Cup. I couldnt have asked for anymore from my team.

I am 10th in the French hall of fame, whcih maybe shows the lack of quality French managers, but i hope to improve my posistion in this table next year.

My star performers were Gignac, Pele and Otamendi without those three it may have been a different season.

Liedson was probably my best signing as he only cost me £1.6m and already having clubs offer me £3m for him.

The 25 year old Brazilian joins Toulouse for £10m.

Jeremy Menez has also joined the club from Roma. The ex Monaco player joined Roma for over £12m and Barthez has snapped him up for less than half of that.

im not sure whether signing vagner love is a good option cos i signed him up for 10m with everton previously but unfortunately, he could not play for more than 2 clubs in a year/season and therefore was ineligible. ended up selling at a loss. hopefully, you wont experience this as well

SEASON 2 2010/2011

Re - View

Another incredible season for me and the team. The two disapointments were my ligue finish of 5th and getting knocked out of the French cup 11th round.

However at the beginning of the season bookies put us at 30/1 to win the Champions League and i wish i had put a tenner on it.

We also won the Coupe de Ligue so my trophy cabinet is now looking very impressive.
