Which is why I'm taking it with a pinch of salt. But different ITK's know different things.

The club employs different scout groups and advisors to sort out deals so the odd few slip away or get negotiated out of the blue.

Yeah, the guy I'm talking about has mentioned a £14-15M bid for Mata in the next week, meetings with Aguero and his agent in June, a bid for Sunderland's Henderson at some point, Charlie Adam being completed soon and Ashley Young being 50/50.

Lucas had a superb season and Barton signing wont make any sense. Lucas with Gerrard/Raul is good enough. Superb addition to the squad though. Just that he wont improve the first team.

Hope we dont. Let them have him. I dont want him to be at United. For starter we can do better by signing Rodwell.. There are so many players who are better than him and cost little..
