When 'Arry said City had targets that would blow your brains out...

Have a read of the thread and look at post 105..

Man City have loadsamoney. Yawn.

Sweet jesus please don't be true.

Really hope it isn't true. But I don't see why he'd leave, regardless of money. On top of that, he's always said that Manchester United are his English club and he'd only sign for them in England.

Also, love the way there's a person called '.Mike' and has the same grammar as our very own Mike. :O

How would a Man Utd fan on a Man Utd forum know jack **** about City's bids? That said it might be true, still.

Liverpool, not Manchester United.

This paves the way for Barca to bid proper money for Fabregas :'(:(

Read his explanation. Few posts on.

Praying it's not true, surrrely not? If I was Barca though, I'd take it all day long and bring in Fab for about £40-50m.

Can see a City bid for Higuain with all the fuss about Tevez going or staying. Although I cant see why Madrid would want to let their best striker go for the 15 mil thats being talked about.

Admittedly, I have no sources, but apparently, this was a deal offered to Arsenal at a cut down price. In exchange for this they were going to purchase Fabregas at £35M.

Fab is worth more than torrres imo so it should be OVER 50 M if they want Cesc

Sunderland want Darren Gibson.
Wigan 3m bid for Mackail Smith.
Arsenal keen on Odemwingie.
Liverpool want Phil Jones.

Sky Sports news. :)

Derby are in for Jason Shackell, Craig Bryson, Chris Maguire & Nathan Tyson.

Put any midfielder in Xavi's place, Barca wont be same as they are now. He is the heart of Barca. No one can retain possession like him and make them tick. Fabregas can't play Xavi's role, no one can either.

Transfers within league will always be costly than transfers with the clubs of other leagues.

More fool you then.

Xavi suits Barcelona's system more than anyone else in the world. Why trade guaranteed success for money?

Of course he does, but they have Thiago coming through as well who in a years time or so is going to be more than capable of playing that role.

Also RE City;

In all honesty I couldn't give a flying **** about City or their plans for world domination.
Even their most die-hard fans would admit that the club is descending into the realms of farce...there is no identity there.
What history they have is being washed away by the nouveau riche who are using offensive wealth to simply plunder the opposition.
Where is the fun in that?
It's not sport, it's business and nothing else. It's not something that they will look back on in years to come with pride and say 'We earned that through hard work and doing things the right way'.They epitomise everything that is wrong with modern football...the working man's game that a working man can't afford to watch. City's owners couldn't care less if they had a 75,000 stadium packed to the rafters with clients and OOTs with not the slightest affiliation to the club.

All they want is trophies, by any means, regardless of whether there is any sport involved in the journey to that end result.
And that IMO is a sad state of affairs.

I have no issues with the joke man city have become. Its all going to end in tears for them sooner or later.

Posh's attempt to replace Craig Mckail Smith has hit it's first hurdle. A £1million bid for Sam Baldock of MK Dons has been rejected. I'm pretty happy tbh, Baldocks garbage!

I'd rather have Adam Le Fondre or Clayton Donaldson.

I agree 100%. Hopefully Fair Play will end their shenanigans. Can't come soon enough.

It's not business Alex, it's worse, he hasn't made any money out of Man City, he's significantly down on his investment.

Man City is a plaything for a billionairre. He's playing real life Footbal Manager.
