Luka Modric's advisor is confident the Tottenham playmaker will stay at White Hart Lane this summer.

The Croatia star has been strongly linked with a move Manchester United as the Premier League champions seek a replacement for Paul Scholes.
But Modric's advisor, Mario Mamic, doubts that the ex-Dinamo Zagreb player will move to Old Trafford.
The 25-year-old is under contract until 2016 so not matter what United offer, Mamic reckons the Spurs board will be unwilling to sell.

"Luka will not go to Manchester United and he will also stay at Tottenham because I know that president Daniel Levy will not let him go," he told Croatian newspaper Jutarnji List.

Mamic's father Zdravko is vice-president at Dinamo and believes United may have to top the club-record £30.75million they paid for Dimitar Berbatov in order to land Modric.

"I heard that somebody has offered £20m pounds for Luka but that's crazy," he added.

Yes i fail to see how that backs up your point on him not thinking that United will bid enough to make us sell Modric.

Levy has said time and time again that they are not for sale. I cannot see united bidding more than 40m which will not be enough.

Levy is a business man, Players arent for sale unless the price is right.. As Frank has said if we through in enough money, We will get Luka.

All your article says is Levy wont sell Luka, From Luka's Agent, Levy will always sell at the right price. Whether that is right or wrong for spurs.

He isnt worth more then 40million CJ.... This is summer imaginery figure you have created. Most people rate him at 25million... SO utd playing 30 is more likely.
