i take sol back to arsenal aswell he was awesome when he came back and should never had left :(

Campbell should start learning some basic Arabic and take the first plane to the gulf - that's pretty much all he can do right now.

Surprised Ashley Youngs not been mentioned by many people, his contract runs out next summer and hes made it clear he is not renewing so United are sniffing around with a 14 million pound deal. Especially when Darren Bent comes out and basically says Young will not be there next season lol, I can see his destination being United/Chelsea this summer more likely United.

Apparently Newcastle are one of the clubs who have shown interest in Scott Parker. Seems more likely, now the news that Barton is on his way. Also Peter Crouch could be lined up for the Toon

Liverpool has expressed interest in unsettled HSV winger Eljero Elia.
Van Nistelrooy seems to be on his way to Malaga. When he does, he will rejoin with Manuel Pellegrini who was head coach at Real Madrid when Ruud still played there.
Spartak Moscow has informed of the services from Ajax' Demy de Zeeuw. Demy has confirmed that he would like to go there, adding that he'd like to see a (much) better salary. Ajax wants 6M for de Zeeuw.
Man City's John Guidetti is one step closer to becoming an FC Twente player next year. Reports include that the transfer free player has come to a suitable contract and is flying to FC Twente this week to do a medical exam.
Wenger eyes Benzema. Le professeur added that Benzema was the kind of player he likes: intelligent, a teamplayer and technically gifted. Reported cost: 22M.
Stekelenburg has been named as a successor for De Gea, who left Atletico Madrid to join Man U. Atletico may find some stiff competition since the Spurs have also expressed interest in the Dutch Goalie.

I've just read on Schalke's fanclub official facebook profile, that there is a rumour that Tottenham has bid around 8 mil € + Niko Kranjčar for dutch striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar... Nothing has been confirmed..

---------- Post added at 09:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:00 PM ----------

also another rumour:

http://www.index.hr/sport/clanak/wolfsburg-trazi-zamjenu-za-diega-kranjcar-postaje-mandzukicev-suigrac/553326.aspx

Wolfsburg want to sign Kranjcar (replacement for disappointing diego who will leave the club)

It's been mentioned a number of times....

And I don't think Chelsea are in the race for him, it's between United, Spurs & Liverpool; hopefully the latter will sign him.

Ben Arfa has already signed for 5mil months ago

I'm betting some money West Ham will see the Ex Wigan striker Amr Zaki at Upton Park next season, call it a well informed hunch

Saw in one paper today Liverpool chasing Carlton Cole...I was like I could understand when the Yanks and Pidgeon face were in charge but now?...(DailyFail)

Newcastle are trying to seal a permanent deal for Ben Arfa despite him missing almost the entire season the chief scout has sent in a glowing recommendation to the clubs hierarchy. Sunderland have decided to not take Inter Milan up on there future fee clause in Muntaris loan deal so he will return to Italy at the end of the summer.

And in understated news, when Pepe Reina said he will stay he also unveiled that he has a 20 million minimum fee release clause :|

Wish SI knew about that

No no no no no no i do not want Ashley Young, we have a huge war chest this time round and i dont want any of it wasted on him

Yeah i don't want him(Young)...don't think we need him...and he's no better than nani/park...

Agree 100%.

Not happy with his release? when he played, he was ****. Thought he would have been the ever-reliable backup, not a flailing mess

I agree, It was really sad watching him when he did play for us knowing how good he once was and i really thought he would of been able to do a job for us sadly he didnt, but he cant complain he picked up a decent amount of money for doing nothing really, and all these arsenal fans who want him back seriously you dont, you need two quality centre halfs and that isnt sol campbell

Patrice Evra has suggested that fellow Frenchman Samir Nasri should join Manchester United if he wants to win trophies.
Arsenal

playmaker Nasri enjoyed an excellent first half of the season at the Emirates Stadium before injuries decreased his impact in the second half of the campaign.
The Gunners also suffered another disappointing season as they again failed to win a trophy, while, in contrast, United lifted the Premier League and are preparing to meet Barcelona

is the place to be for success amid reports that Sir Alex Ferguson

wants to sign Nasri, but the left-back is also surprised by the speculation about his compatriot.
"Really? I didn't know that," Evra told L'Equipe when informed of United's reported interest in Nasri.

"Anyway, if he comes, he has to know there is no room for mistakes. Each year you are playing to win. That is Manchester's culture.
"Each year it is a guarantee of a title. I have been at Manchester for five years now and I can't remember how many trophies I have won. 13? 15?
"So, 'Petit Prince', if you want to become King you know where you have to go."

lolfest XD

Jesus, Evra is a ****. No class whatsoever. Not to mention he's only won 12 trophies max.

Happy to see the Young wheels trundling along, but I'm also feeling a little sad that they are too. Very nostalgic, looking back through his career to date.

Moving on:

Foster and Al-Habsi both linked with Villa. Personally, either would be fine, but I'm eager for us to get just one keeper so we can call up the prodigiously talented Benjamin Siegrist as a No. 2. Winner of the Golden Gloves in the 2009 U-17 World Cup, winner of same WC, general all-round lanky ******. Looks the real deal.

DER HAMMER

Apologies for **** link, but if we got him for 500k it'd be brilliant.

Also, found this translated from a German site called kicker.de:

Damour still waits

Even if the Frenchman Loic Damour (20) appeals to the FC is not secure. The former youth international, who is the third division until 2013 Racing Strasbourg under the contract, Cologne are seriously interested. "There will be no decision before June," said consultant Sebastien Ewen, available to the other requests from France, England (Aston Villa) and the Bundesliga for the talent. One thing is clear: "Loic will leave Strasbourg at 100 percent." Strasbourg, which excludes a Lending calls, to 1.5 million euro transfer fee. Possible that the FC so look around for alternatives: With Landry N'Guemo (25, AS Nancy, free transfer) leads the club, according to French media reports, interviews.

Oh, and on a worse note, Stewart Downing's a bit of a ****. All that talk about how he owes us and how he's going to sign a contract extension, then one word with his agent and furious backpedalling...

A post from RAWK I found interesting yesterday:

@Tim_LFC8 It was all a front for the press. I heard from the man himself that he wants to go to Liverpool. Feels badly treated by Houllier.

Spoke to my guy re:Downing, he still wants to go, sees #Liverpool as a dream club, and Dalglish is a big fan.

@Tim_LFC8 This is what I heard (from Downing himself, genuinely, will take a few tweets) In January, Chelsea and Liverpool bid for him...

@Tim_LFC8 Houllier rejected both, and didn't tell Downing. Last month, Downing learnt that they made bids, and was angry he wasn't told...

@Tim_LFC8 then Dalglish got in touch with Downing just before he agreed to become permanent manager, and said he wants him as his first...

@Tim_LFC8 signing, and to refuse to sign any contract. Downing has told Villa he wants to go. This is the point we are up to
