Bayern Munich have apparently signed Genoa's Rafinha for 5,5m €, the deal is supposed to be officially announced this week. Who is supposed to become the alternative to signing Fabio Coentrão who would be too expensive for Bayern. Rafinha would be taking the right-back spot, while Lahm would find himself as left-back.
Also mentioned in the article is the announcement scheduled for this week, about when Manuel Neuer will be joining Bayern. It is yet to be decided if he'll join this upcoming 2011/12 season or only for the season 2012/13. The deal itself is supposed to be done though (according to some other media anyway...). Manchester City's Jerome Boateng is also supposed to be close to signing for Bayern.

Inconsistency is part of Berbatov's game, he is just inconsistent. Even whilst at Leverkusen and Spurs, he was inconsistent. To say he's a "consistently good player" is laughable, otherwise surely your top scorer would've started more games?
