Who are co? I agree Di Maria doesn't seem to work as hard as the others, but everyone else seems to be working harder under him...

Actually I did, so your thoughts are incorrect. What I read in your post, I didn't agree with. Berba might not be a consistently prolific striker, but he is a consistently good player and if it wasn't for the fact that Fergie's ****** around with him; he'd get to prove that.

Co. being Ronaldo and some of the other players such as Benzema. I don't think they do it in the same degree as Di Maria and sometimes it's good to take the shot on your own, but I still think he could sharpen up on the disciplin even further.

I'm a fan of Pav myself, the way 'Arry has treated some of the Spurs players has put me off him tbh.

Kranjcar, Pavlyuchenko, and others were mistreated by 'Arry (for those who don't like to read this, Harry), when they were good, they were still benched...

Yohan Cabaye has confirmed on French TV that he will sign for Newcastle, in the press conference tonight. Will upload link/translation in due course

To add to the Cabaye news APPARENTLY according to some very well placed inside sources we've (Newcastle) secured the services of Gervinho for 6 years with him being on 60k a week.

You're accusing Sir Alex Ferguson, one of the greatest (if not THE greatest) man managers of all time of '******* around' with a player?

Inconsistency is part of Berbatov's game, he is just inconsistent. Even whilst at Leverkusen and Spurs, he was inconsistent. To say he's a "consistently good player" is laughable, otherwise surely your top scorer would've started more games?

1) Fergie kept faith in the man, when everyone was slating him, Utd Fans, Othr fans and generally the world, Fergie showed Berba faith, and treated him right.

2) Berba is an Very Hot N cold player, He has scored what 3 hattricks this season, one when he scored 5 goals. So 11 of his 20 goals came in 3 games. When he is good, He is unplayable and generally one of the best strikers in the league, But he is only good a few times a season.

3) Fergie ****** him around, Like giving him the FA cup Semi final game...? He had enough chances in this 2nd half of the season, Just Herdananez and Rooney have been better

Saw that, but the Cabaye deal is all but certain, now the player has confirmed. Makes sense, get one of Lille's top players to Toon, and it sets up a potential move for Gervinho and/or Moussa Sow

The article below is in German, but the core info would be the following:

Bayern Munich have apparently signed Genoa's Rafinha for 5,5m €, the deal is supposed to be officially announced this week. Who is supposed to become the alternative to signing Fabio Coentrão who would be too expensive for Bayern. Rafinha would be taking the right-back spot, while Lahm would find himself as left-back.
Also mentioned in the article is the announcement scheduled for this week, about when Manuel Neuer will be joining Bayern. It is yet to be decided if he'll join this upcoming 2011/12 season or only for the season 2012/13. The deal itself is supposed to be done though (according to some other media anyway...). Manchester City's Jerome Boateng is also supposed to be close to signing for Bayern.

Did Rafinha play for Schalke ?

Cabaye will be a good signing for us. Hopefully we can get Gervinho as well. And is this a sign that Barton will be moving out?

He used to.

Great player, should be good signing for Munich.

Michael Owen has reiterated his desire to remain at Manchester United amid uncertainty over his future.

The 31-year-old striker has played a bit-part in United's title winning campaign this season, making only 11 Premier League appearances and starting just once.

Owen's contract has expired and so far there has been no announcement on the possibility of an extension.

But the former England international maintains he would love to stay at Old Trafford if the opportunity arises.

He said: "I have loved every minute; we have great players, great staff, great manager and great fans. Hopefully it can continue."

Hopefully so for his sake as he'd have a problem passing a medical at any new club.

I'd rather see Wenger paying double to get Vertonghen.

Danish champions FC Copenhagen have reportedly snuck in a bid for Olympiacos's 100 times capped dane, Dennis Rommedahl.

Did Rafinha play for Schalke ?

Yes, best right back talent in FM once way back.

Apparently he isn't enjoying playing for Genoa, and prefers a move back to the Bundesliga. The club would like him to stay, but in the end there's no real point having a player in the squad who isn't willing to give everything for the team.

Ferguson is the greatest manager of all time, you don't have to point that out to me ffs; but it doesn't mean he is immune to criticism. He did keep faith in the man, and this season Berba was paying him back for that. Obviously the Chicharooney partnership meant he had to be dropped, but he could've been given more playing time. It isn't laughable to say he's a consistently good player, as I said, he doesn't always score but he usually plays well.
