Still utterly bemused as to why Downing would even want to move. Less appearances, no Champions League, no more money than he could get out of us anyway... weird. Never mind. I'll be surprised if we sell him before a manager arrives, frankly.

Don't be offended GodCubed, but I'll put a tenner to a charity of your choice if you lot get into the CL before we do. Said before it's about the ambition of Villa as much as anything else for Downing. And I can see him being there next season as there will probably be much better value buys to be had than the £16m supposedly being quoted for Downing (was £1m out in price XD) and he's just leaving options open at the moment while clubs see if their first choices are available or not.

But with him not knowing Villas manager for next season at the moment, how can he make a judgement on there ambition, If they go out and get Carlo, thats showing a real ambition but getting a born winner. I think it all depends on who they get as manager.
 
Darren Bent has said that Ashley Young wants to go to a bigger club.

Maxwell has asked his agent to find a new club for him. Valued at around €5M. AC Milan are favourites at the moment.

Can't sign him cos their non-eu player signing has been used on Taiwo.
 
Terms have been agreed with the Turkey Football Federation for Guus Hiddink to leave and join #CFC.

He was signed by Inter as non-eu player and as non-eu player for Barcelona.

Nope. Taiwo and Antonelli can handle the LB position quite well. Their defence is sorted. Now they need midfielders.
