Barça manager Xavi: “Lewandowski? He's one of the options, one of the possibilities. There are negotiations, he has one year of his contract left… it won't be easy”.

#FCB “Financial situation? Laporta told me we’ll be able to reinforce the team, there’s confidence”.

Xavi: "Frenkie [De Jong] is a beastly footballer, with the conditions to mark an era at the club. But we will see the economic situation of the club." [via @gerardromero]

Exclusive: Talks between Manchester United and Ajax are now at an advanced stage for the transfer of Jurrien Timber. The deal is close to completion #MUFC

La Liga president @TebasJavier on Mbappé deal: “What PSG’s doing by renewing Mbappé with large sum after giving losses of €700M in recent seasons and having more than €600M of salary bill, is an insult to football”. 🚨⚪️ #Mbappé

“They’re as dangerous as the Super League”.

🚨 Tottenham make Fraser Forster top target to back up Hugo Lloris next season & will aim to secure deal next week once PL campaign ends. 34yo has said #SaintsFC goodbyes. #THFC wanted a homegrown GK to replace Gollini. With @dansheldonsport @TheAthleticUK

Well since they missed out on both Halland and Mbpape, you better hide your Salahs hide your DeBruynes. Floretino needs his yearly big transfer.

They are free to submit an offer for some United players. Are they interested in Spanish Casillas - David de Gea? Also I think they lack leadership and playmaking so Maguire is the obvious choice ( though he'd probably cost a new world record for a defender). Carvajal is injury prone and Wan Bissaka is the like-for-like replacement ( but the issue is that RM need to pay the English tax for him).

FC Barcelona have made a first offer to Bayern Munich for Robert Lewandowski of 32 million Euros. Not accepted for now by Bayern, who have already started looking for a striker on the market.

Frenkie de Jong gave away five pairs of boots and three shirts among fans earlier today. He told them that he wanted to say goodbye to all those who are there every day [@gerardromero]

The irony of Spain being ****** about financial cheating is something special.🤣🤣🤣

It is scandalous that a club like PSG, which last season lost more than 220 million euros, after accumulating losses of 700 million euros in recent seasons (even after declaring income from sponsorships of very dubious amount) with a cost of sports staff around 650 million euros for this season 21/22, can afford an agreement of these characteristics while those clubs that could assume the arrival of the player without compromising their wage bill, are left without being able to sign him.

For all of the above, LaLiga will file a complaint against PSG before UEFA, administrative and fiscal authorities in France and before the competent bodies of the European Union, in order to continue defending the economic ecosystem of European soccer and its sustainability

The hole PSG saga is more of an insult also to Ligue 1 and to the teams there. I think Mbappe wage = 90% of the league teams wages combined, if even not more. It is pathetic how reckless it has been let by the league and all the wanna be FFP.
