Just the natural process of a deal of this magnitude taking its time with all the finite details. Theres never been any rush from either side through a season. The deals been on the table for a good while and he doesn’t want to go anywhere, Lets be honest here, aside from a sideways step to City, which is never happening, any other club on the planet is currently a step down and he and his family openly love life in the City.

I’d heard a while back it was boxed and just waiting for the right moment to be announced. But that may have been jumping the gun a tad. His ******* agent hasn’t helped matters with his cryptic tweets setting Twitter off every so often,

I think he see’s out his career here FWIW. He’ll get upped to our highest paid player but it will be more around the 300 k mark than the mad 4 that is the arbitrary figure floating around. And more so he’ll get the long term security he wants. Jurgen extending is another massive nod to that.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see all 3 of Bobby, Mo and Sadio extending to be honest. But even if Mo or more did leave, they’ve shown they’ve no quelms paying what ever they have to for the right replacement,

So I’m perfectly calm and not worried on anything either way personally.

The only guaranteed departure from the first team squad that will happen this summer I’d venture is Oxo-Chambo. The rest will be the likes of Phillips and Williams who need to leave for their own career sake.
