that was what i was saying, mansell champ 92 and prost 93 did not defend the following seasons i.e. 93-94

Don't remember that much from the past,but definetely the numbers issue was strange.
I think the question said about the LAST driver to wear Nr 1, 1985 comes after 1974 so while your answer is for the most part correct, somebody in 1985 drove with the Nr 1 on the car whilst not world champion
3, Verstappen, Lehto and Herbert were all Scumachers team mate at some point during 94, driving number 6
