argh...what was that from clichy? he was having a good game before that...we need to bring on chamakh and sanga to sort this out..though I'd be happy with a draw - shakhtar are a great team at home. they haven't lost there in like 50 games of something I believe

Have a bad feeling about this. Where's Chamakh?

Good to see Shakhtar have got there act together in this game. Hoping they qualify for knockout's along with Arsenal.

Chamakh :)

Theo is trying his best to get us level.

So close Squillaci.

Should have done better, it's a good height for the keepr (i.e. trickling on the ground) - he should really score when he's given a free header that far out :S

Come on Shakhtar, just hold on, Pleaseee

Not even Nasri can get past the defence =(

Come on JET!!!!
Would be awesome for him to score.

Shakhtar are a good team, with lots of money. Good to see Chygrnsky perform well.

was it the former arsenal player who scored...?

if so, did he celebrate?

Super Shakhtar excellent win and Eduardo again this time scoring the winner.

It was he who scored, and no he didn't celebrate.

Yess.

That one person who voted for a Shakhtar win is looking pretty good about now...

Isn't that their 49th unbeaten home game in a row or something?

A draw was always going to be tough, a win very difficult.
Just that poor 25-30 minutes in the first half has cost us bad.

Probably created enough chances to justify earning a draw, but just couldn't take them :S

Not a great game tbh.

Always going to be very tough fixture (away from Home + Great crowd + all the way in Ukraine + our record in Eastern Europe is dire).

Disappointing to concede two pretty cheap goals, but their pressure in the 1st half probably means they deserved the goals (The first of which shouldn't have been a FK, the second of which was pure lack of concentration from Clichy).

But of course we'll still qualify if we beat Partizan at Home.. and will finish top if we also beat Braga away. (Can't remember the order)
