Amazing tactic. I won with Universidad Católica a Libertadores Cup and with Inter a Champions League. I love this tactic, is awesome. Congratulations to the creator ;)

Which version did you use? attcking or defensive?

Guys, I've added OVERLOAD version to OP.

Use this version in cases when you need goal at any cost and have nothing to lose.

As you can see there're 4 versions now but you have only 3 slots for tactics. There's nothing tragic about that because OVERLOAD version has many similarity with 2 base tactics and it will be about 90% fluid when you plug it any time.

I've also updated filters. Slightly tweaked attributes for WBL/WBR and Midfielders. It's helped to add more players to pool.

Guys, here's new version and probably it will be replacement for Defense_V3 because I'm getting better results with it than Defense_V3 .

I'll test it a bit more and if I'm keep getting such good results then I'll update OP.

Ok, I've given new Counter version number of stress tests and it proven its worth.

The final test was real game play in my long term save at West Ham and it went awesome.

Here are the results and you can judge by yourself.

Here's the most important part: it's just impossible to achieve such results without using Overload and Waste Time versions and I used it almost every game.

Here's typical match scenario:

1) I start match with tactic according to the guide.
2) If I lead after 1st half then I keep using it.
3) If lead more than 2 goals then I could change for Waste Time or keep using base tactic it depends on opposition's strength.
4) If I draw or lose after 1st half then I change for Overload and after 15-25 min of using it I usually score and then change to base version.

Why many struggle to get consistent results? The answer is simple it's because they stick to one tactic/formation!

Every formation has its limits. Here's what I'm talking about:
You just can't get extreme attack from 4-1DM-2-2-1 formation and no matter whatever team instruction/shouts/PIs you set and the same time you just can't get extreme defense from 4-2-3-1 formation.

Here's my rating of formations:

The best formation if you want to make ultimate defense:
Best_Defence.jpg

The best formation if you want to make ultimate attack:
Best_Attack.jpg

Hybrid formations:

These formations have moderate attack or defense. Some of them are more attacking and some more defensive. They all can be used as starting tactics but none of them have extremes but it happens very often that during the match you need extremes!

How do AI teams play?

They play exactly as I described above. You can see that such clubs as Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool and many more go for extreme formations almost every time when they are unhappy/happy with current result.

Yes, they start matches with 4-3-2-1/4-1DM-2-2-1 or whatever formation but in 2nd half if they are unhappy with the result then they go for extreme formations.

There're only 4 tactics currently I recommend to use: Counter_V1, Attack_V4, Waste_Time_V1 and Overload_V1.

I use 3 slots for: Counter_V1, Attack_V4, Waste_Time_V1.

I don't use slot for Overload_V1 because it has many similarities with other tactics and when you plug at any moment it has 90% fluidity.

View attachment 351099 I have a world class team now just brought Goretzka for 50million :) but even still defensive version im flying look at how many goals i've conceded, I don't replay games or edit anything either.

Thank You

TFF9, you're the only one who uses systems and strategies capable of giving such realism to the game. I love the fact of changing the tactic depending current situation of certain match or opponent. It´s the real way to give us dynamic football, capable of consistent results and awesome campaigns. Personally, you are the only one who I identifiy myself the most because of the way you see and think the game. I don't agree very much using HOME and AWAY tactics, it is'nt as funny as being focused on the match and do the changes we need to do during that match. You're awesome, and thanks for the effort you have on this, just to give us better ways to improve more more our game! I think you're the only one in fmbase that gives tactics with the most consistent results and campaings. You should be even more famous here than you really are due to your excellent work. I think you are much better than Jassar's for example. He is good, but has too much tactics, and turns it confusing. You are much simpler and straight to the subject, I think! Cheers, keep the superb work :)

first of all thanks for this awesome tactic, but I don't understand this, if u start a match using counter , attack, and waste time in all three slots and u r losing at half time then how do I switch to overload version ????
