Conn, I don't recommend make changes like this because it can turn around how tactic works.

In order to say is this change improve for the tactic or not you need to test it at least for 2 seasons distance.

People tend to judge about efficiency of their "tweaks" after few matches but this is anecdotal small sample.

The latest version of the tactic has showed its consistency for me on 5 seasons distance I really would think twice before making any changes to it :)

Yeah total i know, but MAta and Januzaj were just performing le terrible so i had to try something :/

when i got lots of injuries and forced to use Annan as DM i also set him as BWM becasue he is to crapp as DM at PL/Champ league level. Thats the only "tweaks" i have done.
Dident tuch anything else.

When opponent get a red card i swap to balanced and try to pass the ball to exploit the opponent better, but i do that in all tactics i have more or less.

That said, im gona continue to provide feedback, and hopefully it will be beastly next season when all players are properly settled.

Advanced in CL with only 1 goald conceded in the grps (0-1 loss to juve at old trafford). Looking forward to the comming weeks :)
 
aaaand would you belive the game crashed ><

sigh, wonder how many matches i lost.. don't have the balls to log in and figure out :(

checking tomorrow, then recreating the matches as best i can.

Remember these buys were in first season + 2nd season so not bought a kazillion first team players for the firstteam.

Im trying to not grab to many players without selling so i can keep the squad even and rotate to keep ppl happy.

I cannot get rid og Young however. hes worth 12mp, but even tho i transferlist him for 1mp noone want to buy him ><

You must offer Young for 2,5 mil € to clubs and then Everton and Newcastle will make an offer. You will have to pay him € 325K a month until 2016, but you will save € 300K a month which is a lot of money!

I made mirror versions of all 3 tactics, because Mata and Januzaj (AM) are left footed and Romero and Obiang (CM) are right footed! Don't forget to swap the roles of the strikers as well! (the CF who's playing before the AM gets a support role)

I would not recommed using Matic on the DM position, because he has very weak physical stats! I got Sven Bender and he was absolute key to my defensive stability! His mental and defensive stats are very high but his average rating was not very high. He didn't score and assist a lot, but he won almost every ball and made sure opponents attacks are neutralized before they even became dangerous.

Also, try to get Matthias Ginter als DCR.. He has low accelaration, but the rest of his stats are very good!

I agree with TFF! The only change i made to the tactic was a mirror version and i managed to win every possible price in the first season with only conceding 24 times in all matches! (see post 473)

Tweaks should be judged over at least a full season! I always hate it when i see post of a tweak or a new tactic and then see screenshots which show they've only played like 10-20 matches! Just test it for a season before jumping to conclusions!

Tweaks should not be done in a whim, but i felt i had to try something. AMC is now AMC again, and DM is DM, annan is on his way out. I know Matic isnt as strong as i would like, but considering Carrick is injured, and all i got to cover was youth, i had to loan a dm in, and hes been alright, just not fantastic.

Oh btw, i just lost to Brentford in FA cup ><

If you have the money (7-10 Mil) get Pedro Obiang from Sampdoria! He is very allround and can play DM and CM! Lucas Romero is also physicaly good, so he is fine for DM.

Hi dudes does this tactic work on latest patch 14 .3 and whats the latest version of this tactic where can i download on the thread i am currently with Swansea l finished my first season second on the log no cups yet, 2nd season currenlty second on the EPL in the final for Fa CUP JUST GOT KNOCK OUT BY PSG in quater leg of champions league

This tactic works on the latest patch! The versions that are in the opening post right now (there are 3: Counter, Overload and Waste Time!) are the ones you can download.
 
Yeah i got Romero, so looking to spec him as DM forward as he been doing great for me.
Might get Kondogbia for the DM, but not sure yet.

Herrera picking it up, and with Cleverly otw out, i am looking for a realy good MC or DM next season.

AS usual i got a tonn of AMC (Stanciu, Januzaj, Mata + lots of youth 4+ stars prospects). Think im settled there.

Strange game....

after 17 min i was 4-0 up, was wrecking WBA, then the past 73min i got stomped and was lucky to get away with the win....
Should i have swapped to time waste after i vent 4-0 up and noticed WBA started to create chances?

Also i scored a 5th goal, but it dident count despite WBA going for kickoff. Januzaj crossed in to welback who scored, and they vent to take kickoff, but score still 4-1 lol. Only chance i had the last 73min btw ><

Does this happen often? In my save in 95% of the matches i was the better side but only had 3-4 highlights and almost every time i scored at least once. Also i rarely conceded from normal play.. almost everthing i conceded came from corners and penalty's..

If you look at the screenshot below you'll see what i mean. A lot of 1-0 scores..

Also i put match training on Attacking Movement the entire season and on 30%. I've noticed that my team got less tired that way so i got the play more matches with my best players!

Im abusing the Overload version in homegames vs medicore/weak teams, and it got me 7-0 vs fulham among other things, but yes it happends a lot that i totaly dominate then WHAM, opponent changes things, and it becomes useless, and it would actually be better to have an entierly different tactic to put on for 2nd halfs.

Tried to change the normal to overload and nothing changes. infact i have better chances scoring again with time waste on it seems ><

I always look at player ratings when the opponent changes thing.. When a player is below a 7.0 or is completely off compared to the other players, i always substitute them.. Doesn't matter if it's my star player if you play bad, i'll sub him!

Also i've noticed that's it isn't useful to sub my strikers, because most of the time it's not their fault they're not scoring! They're not getting supplied with good opportunity's and then i sub my CWB's or/and CM and AM to make an impact!

Micro managment during the match is important, same goes for team talks!
 
Looks very good Conn, but where is Phil Jones? He's absolutly amazing as DCR, much beter than Evans who wastes a lot of possession.

Also the original tactic has a CF(S) and a CF(A).. In the mirror tac, the right CF should be the one with the attack duty!
