Through many sackings, I'm trying to build a tactic around a regista and I'm kind of drawing a blank on what type of formation to use. I've tried using what I call a Flying V, with (this isn't the team I'm using this formation with, just the save I had open):

This seems like a solid front to use with the regista, with the dribble more and more direct passing ticked in instructions. The big issue seems to fall on the defensive side however. With an aggressive offensive position in the DM slot, it tends to leak goals.
Would it be better served to roll with 2 DMs, dropping one of the BBMs as an anchor man? What would I do with the other CM? Add another ST, maybe a Treq next to or above the F9 as an AMC?

I'm running into the problem where I don't want to muddy up the area in front of the regista so he can do his unlocking of the defense, but I also don't want to have a gaping hole in the midfield. I also kind of want to slow-play (much lower tempo) and let him dictate the attack (Pirlo, kinda).
Any suggestions?
