Can you tell me more about Diablo? I have seen so many people refer to it but I do not think I have ever used it :P For which version of FM was it.. and how good was it? haha
 
CM 03/04 Was considered as 'a cheat' tactic, the ME could not cope with that central midfielder, that just sliced trough the defence like a knife on hot butter!

Celtic 4th season won domestic treble and lost to Real Madrid in last 16 of champions league.
 
I'm not sure if it has been said but if you are Away against a strong team or the underdogs at home/neutral, switching to Contain has been extremely effective at creating more CCCs and Shots. If I am playing against a team that is clearly having more within the first 15 minutes, switching from Attacking to Contain has ensured draws/victories against top teams for me.

I'm playing as Norwich at the moment, I've got them into the Champs League and won the PL with this tactic. My team is not exceptional but it is a good team. If I am playing a big European team home or away I will start and use Contain and it still generates a lot of shots and CCCs. If I am at home against a big club I will let the first 15 minutes play out and then switch to Contain if necessary (I have found that switching to, rather than starting with Contain has worked better).

Also as a side note - Loic Remy is an absolute monster for assists if played in the right DLF position!

Contain makes sense the tactic is very attacking in its set up so even in contain those three strikers will be up the pitch and the aps will dribble out
 
I just began with Prestatyn. Had 5 defeats in a row but now switched to standard mentality and we shall see the results.
 
I also feel like tactic familiarity (looking at my own tactic) is somehow much more important for this tactic (maybe because of the mentality switching) than with others.. I really think people should also give it a try when your players know this tactic/formation a bit better :)
 
Will I'm guessing you are enjoying this tactic? Ha I will be home in an hour and will play around with the defence after seeing v0lliz and his new set of results
 
Yeah both but if you want to score more add one more guy to the corner I have puto one more person back
