We were terrible in the first half and were 2-0 down 9 minutes in but I had to batter them at half time about how awful they were, we came out with a sense of purpose and played some brilliant stuff, to come back and win in the way we did is what reminds why I love this game.”[/FONT]

“It was a game we dominated from start to finish and we just couldn’t put them away, we cut them open time and time again their defence couldn’t cope with our pace so they defended deep which made it hard to connect to their midfield. We exploited that time after time but we just kept missing. Bitterly dissapoined, 2 points dropped.”

“Great performance from the lads today, really committed in all areas over the park and our supply and finishing was top notch today.
Ever (Banega) was class, his second goal was a 40 yard screamer I couldn’t believe my eyes when it went it. I was wondering whether
David (Villa) was going to let
Ever (Banega) take it and I’m glad he did, the lad deserved the hattrick today.”

January Round – Up
“Very good performance after a poor month (December) we won 4 out of 5 league games and have continued our brilliant home form. Our home form has been a key factor for us this year, no one likes coming to the Mestalla and I’m glad it is that way, we are not an easy team to come and play against.”
