I tried the away 5 at back system against shalke but we conceded a goal on the 33rd second of game and first half was pretty bad with very low xg. I had to switch my promitheus system to turn the game around (we scrapped a 2-1 win somehow) but I have some tweaks to the tactic and I call it Crack variation. Tried my crack variation away to socieded and we won very convincingly
I followed a lad idea to use anchorman in dmc and i also use a box to box and pressing forward (which suits darwin nunez and mitrovic that I have quite good). In 2 games I tried so far away played extremely convicingly if lads want to try ...
EDIT:just won milan away convincingly with more xg than them and we looked to perform well with good chances and decent defensive cohesion.
The more i play with 3 at the back, the more i dislike this ME: my CMs seems to disappear if they don't have AM on the flanks, which is just boring. I won a lot with 3 5 2 and 3 4 1 2. but seems only when opponents aren't in good form, can't really figure out why CMs contribution is so incosistent (they are too up the field during counter attack, they doesn't press, they don't come deep to help to build plays, etc). CMs in FM22 were way more good
Some underwhelming results:
(still wins, but sooo narrow, and defeat against Spezia is representative about poor CMs contribution)
