It was his first Western as a director i believe. Quite a way to start it off.
No it wasnt,it was made in 1973. He made the Dollars films in the mid 60s and he was in the 50s western TV series Rawhide.

His first major western was A fist full of dollars. 1963

e directed A fist full of Dollars? Didnt know that :O
Are you sure it wasnt his first directed western? I was almost sure it was.
 
no country for old men is quality if you class that as a western
 
not that big into westers but i thought young guns 1 & 2 were very good
 
Anyone seen a film called Westworld? A real classic.

I have, It was a weird old film with that sci-fi side to it. You see the sequel, Futureworld? It was major fail. Only one original character returned.
 
Tombstone was brilliant.
Val Kilmer stole the show as Doc Holliday.
