players:
GK: V.Valdes, Jose M. Pinto
Defenders: G. Pique, Puyol ,Milito, Abidal, Rafael, Victor Sanchez, Fabio, Andreu Fontas, M.Caceras
Central Mid.: Xavi, Iniesta, Mascherano, Busquetes, Keita
Wingers/AMC: Messi, Pedro, Yassine El Ghannasy, Alexandder Hleb, Eden Hazard
Strikers: David Villa, M.Balotteli, Bojan, Kerrirson, Tomas Necid

Anyone have a good tactic, also what are the best player roles?

Guys

I am trying to find a consistent tactic for Brighton in the first season in League one.

I started with 4-2-4-2 and it went well, banging in goals consistently and was sitting pretty in 4th.

However, in the last 6-10 games we are on a terrible run of form and my strikers can't score for toffee. I want to get my promotion push back on track and was wondering if anyone had any experience for a similar team and how they got out of the rut?

Any advice appreciated....also on the look out for decent free players.

Cheers

x

If the gameflow looks like in the previous matches where you scored, then this is probably down to the man-management. Try putting more pressure in those forwards and wingers that keep missing their CCC´s. If you know that they cant handle the pressure, then try telling them that their is none

Apologies....I was all in a fluster cos I was rushing it!

We are now around 25 games into the season and have slipped to 11th.

Formation as below...

GK - Ankergren
WBR - Calderon (wing back / support)
DRC - Tommy Elphick (centre back / defend)
DCL - Gordan Greer (centre back / defend)
WBL - Delagdo (wing back / support)
MCL - Liam Bridcutt (ball winning / defend)
MCR - Gary Dicker (cent mid / support)
AMR - Elliot Bennett (winger / attack)
AML - Kazenga LuaLua (winger / attack)
STL - Yahil Kebe (poacher / attack)
STR - James Brown (adv foward / attack)

Currently playing a balanced and attacking game. Shorter passing, zonal marking and sticking to position.

Sorry can't do screenie till later as I am at work...busy day at the ol' office as you can probably tell.

Are there any players that you won't accept putting on the bench for mots of the season ?. As it is, you have to make a choice

I want to develop the youth into a legends as well as play sexy football..my preference in youth are Canales,,and those 3 youth forwards!

players i prefer
Ronaldo
Benziema Higuain Torres (I know its impossible still)
Also Gourcuff

I tried to offload Khedira Diarra..but they don get transfer as well as loan offer
Manu offered 15 mn for Suarez where I hd bought him for 30 mn
Now I am on my July transfer window!

I would probably build the tactic/approach around 6 of your favoured players

- The fullbacks/Wingbacks ( counting as one)
- A defensive Midfielder
- A more creative Midfielder
- The Wingers
- One attacker

Bu this i mean that you use these players where they can make most damage to the opposition whilst keeping a balanced shape of the team. If you have a great attacking right fullback, then perhaps you should play a more defensive Winger on his flank. If your creative midfielder likes to come deep, then its important that the wingers on his flank is more advanced

Therefor, i would list the best combination of players. Also remember to use the players that have great stats in work rate, determination and decision

If you upload your save, It can have a look at it, (to see the new young players)

How to upload?

Start of the first season with Liverpool, been using TBH's diamond mid with my own tweaks, is worth while sticking to it or are there better options?

I'm currently managing Getafe (1st season) and i'm 9th in the league but it's been a real struggle. Most players especially in my defence are underperforming. Can you suggest me any tweaks to raise their performance? I also want to get the best out of Parejo who is my star player but i can't get him to perform at all.

I manage Germany in Football Manager 2011 in 2010/2011 season and i have not playing a game with my team. I need help for tactic, strategy, formation, and player roles. These are my players:

atletico madrid tactic

I play with Atletico Madrid and I am in my first season. The season began good. I played an 3-3 against Athletic Bilbao and I bet Barcelona 3-0. But then I played a draw against Zaragoza and I lost 3-0 against Valencia and 2-1 against Sevilla. I play with the Barcelona tactic 4-1-2-2-1, but I think Atletico doesn't fit well with this tactic. Could someone give me some advise for a better tactic? I want to use Agüero and Forlan together, but with my current tactic I play Agüero as an offensive midfielder
My players are:

GK:
Sergio Asenjo
David De Gea

Def:
Filipe
Ujfalusi
Valera
Lopez
van der Wiel
Perea

MF:
Ignacio Camacho
Mario Suarez
Garcia
Thiago (on loan from Juve)
Afellay
Reyes
Giuliano
Simao
Fran Merida

Forward:
Agüero
Forlan
Diego Costa
Borja

I am new in this forum, so can someone tell me how to introduce screenshots and other tools?

Hey, I'm in the first season with Tottenham. Just bought John Arne Riise and the rest of the squad is the same. What formation and tactic should I use? What should I play Pavlyuchenko as?

4-4-2 is the best for a premier league team

I am currently managing CSKA Moscow in the first season and this is my current formation. What roles should my players have and what should be my playing style? And should I use a formation with two strikers, with Necid/Traore as a target man?

I have Colchester in the npower league 1. I came in 6th last season in the standings and have done an extensive remodel of the whole team. My main problem last year was that we did not seem to score many goals or create many chances... I felt like we shot from long distance way too much !! So recently I have set the players instructions to rarely shoot from long distance and set my ST joe mason as the target man.

Let me know if you need anything more. I pretty much upgraded my team from all 3 and 2 1/2 stars to all 3 1/2 stars with 1-2 4 stars so I feel like I should be able to easily place in the top 5 but my team seems to suck at creating chances.. I also seem to get A LOT of fouls... mostly yellow cards although the first few games this season I have had 2 red cards early in matches

"we must improve our game, especially in creating chances"
Thanks for all help :)

Just took over Chelsea in September 2012, not really working for me at the moment, i play a a 4-2-2-2 (with 2 centre midfielders,2 wide players and 2 strikers)

My Ideal Starting 11:

P, Cech
S, Ramos
J, Terry
R, Shawcross
A. Cole
M, Essien
M, Sissoko
C, Ronaldo
Z, Tosic
G, Higuain
L, Suarez

Roles and Team Tactic suggestions please??

Portsmouth Feb 12 2011 and I'm 13th in the league using JP Woodys tactic not happy with my position at all, JP's tactic is my favourite tactic and I use it with every team I manage and never had a problem but its just not working with Pompey, just wondering what tactic would best suit them I haven't sold a player and have brought in Delph, S.*** , Smalling and V.Anichibe on loan signing no one.
