What approach suits my team / I need a Tactic

Some help would be appreciated

I am Chelsea, 3 games into the 2011-2 season.

Ignore most of the players there as they are ones for the future, but the main signings are:
Hazard
Sanchez
Pjanic
Fellaini
Rodwell
Lukaku

Kalou left, and I have no Torres or Bosingwa, but otherwise the team is mostly intact.

Can't really help you if I/we don't know the rest of your squad, what you originally play as a tactic and what instructions you deploy.

I am undecided right now between:

4-3-3
4 at the back, then
Mikel/Fellaini Ball winning mid. Defend
Lampard playmaker. attack
Essien Box to box. support

Sanchez and Hazard Inside forwards. support
Lukaku/drogba Target man. attack


or 4-1-2-1-2
4 at the back


Mikel/Fellaini Ball winning mid. Defend
Essien and Hazard. CMs (not sure of exact role)
Sanchez CAM (again, not sure of exact role)
2 from Drogba/Lukaku/Sanchez (If I play Lampard in mid)/Anelka up front
 
Hi, this is my first post on the forum. I have played FM 2009 and am currently on FM 2011. I am in my second season and have been asked to gain promotion. My first season I finished 12th with a squad that was better than some that had been promoted however I did win the league cup. I have used formations such as 4-4-1, 4-4-2 attacking, 4-3-3 and your basic 4-4-2 formation. I'm eight games in and I'm 5th.
So please can you help me with Tactics and Players to buy and loan

IF i am playing a fluid and attacking 4-2-4 system. Do i want to have " press more" selected for closing down? Also what marking is better for a 4-2-4 ( i am playing with man utd, so i have quality players) zonal, man or default marking?

What role and duty would you recommend for ferdinand and vidic playing in a high defensive line.
Also, for a fluid attacking tactic would you increase creative freedom or would you leave it as default ?

Hi i could really do with some help im just about to start a new season with spurs and would like to know a good formation to use my players after i buy and sell the players i want !
GK : Gomes - Luis Guilherme / DC : Dawson - Gallas - King - Bassong / DR : Corluka - Kaboul / DL : Ekotto need a new back up yougster / MIDFIELDERS : Bale, Modric, Palacios, Huddlestone, Sandro, Van Der Vaart, Lennon, Zeli Ismail, Krancjar, Labyad / Strikers : Defoe, Pavlyechenko, Lukaku, Wilfried Zaha.

Maybe you could reccomend a few difrent yougsters to buy instead of ismail, zaha, Guilherme and labyad ??

Also i would like to know a good formation to play with these players and what roles to play them in ??

And i dont even know where to start tactic wise anything i seemed to try doesnt work to well...

My concern here is that you might be having too few players defensively dedicated, leading to the opponents being able to exploit the gap between your defenders and your midfield. Perhaps try to let the central MC sit much deeper and cut angels rather than being in line with the other MCs, closing down high up in the pitch. Along with having attacking fullbacks and the short passing game, it might also lead to that once the DCs have broken up an attack, lot of your players are going forward too soon in the attack, making your Dcs putting the ball up in haste

Suggestions

Using a central Mid on defend - the fullbacks on defend, raise the d-line slightly by tweaking it manually

It would be suited if you did make Essien an Anchor Man, as he can then break up attacks and recycle what is left of the possession and bring it into both Henrique and Lampard. Raising the defensive line means that you have to press the opposition and also makes it useful to bring in the offside trap. Only lower your defensive line when against teams that are better than you or your coaches advise it.
 
I NEED A TACTIC FOR SEVILLA C.F
i've taken over sevilla mid table in 2013 and they have a fairly decent side still the likes of fabiano, kanoute, navas, all older on the game though so my starting line up is palop, tactiovic..alexis...boateng..navarro..albin...ratickic...2 foreign cms theyre good though then navas then naismith and fabiano up front but i dont have a clue what tactic to play ive tried 4-5-1 :4-4-2 and 4-4-1-1 and they all hard to settle i gave these tactics 4-5 games each and im sitting 9th in the table atm after a crushing defeat to barcelone 9-0 :/ can you give me a formation statergy tempo width def line etc? please post ideas thanks:)

Van Persie--------------------Neymar (Found custom sliders for neymar and he is raping it up with finishing training and place shots and Van Persie is a complete forward but he doesn't do EXTREMELY well..he does ok...Neymar is better as a lone striker...so what role in attacking midfield would suit him?Inside forward?)

I just got aguero and im thinking weather when i play aguero i shoud use poli and sissoko as DLP/B2B with song in defence and aguero attacking midfielder so he can rape people up....


Any Advice for the team will be appreciated(I also have Lukaku who is a beast with neymar as target man and Konsciency to put on defense instead of sissoko against heavy artillery teams like barca or chelsea)

PS. I am not wasting sissoko its just his beastly defense and since his support he also passes around and even scores screamers, which is exactly the player i was looking for that position.
 
Well I got promoted first season at a breeze, no real problem with League 1 and CMS was on fire.

However, I was using a downloaded tactic as a test to see how well I went using it. Instead, I want to try a different one from the coming season in the Championship. Possibly going to be targetting back to back promotions too.

Players that have their first team position set in stone are;

Joe Lewis - GK
Ryan Bennett - CB
George Boyd - LW
Lee Tomlin - RW
Craig Mackail-Smith - ST

Apart from that, I really need suggestions as to what to play and who to sign. I'm considering a 442 with a big/little partnership, and possibly a 4231, I don't really know. Any ideas?

If I do play two strikers though, I do fancy one as a target man and one as a poacher.

Some players I've shortlisted for certain positions are;

RB; John Brayford - £1m
CM; Bradley Johnson - £250k
AM; Darren Ambrose - £500k
ST; Either Gary Madine or Jordan Rhodes - £1m

I would probably use the TC and setup a really cautious tactic using very few runs from deep and t-balls but using a rather high closing down system. Like a mixture of Defensive with retain possession and take a breather and the pressing of a pushed up team in Standard. This wont make you finish 4th or even 10th but its a really good way to stay clear of relegation and build on for the next season. The Formation, well probably a wide 41221 or a 4411

With original patch, are you refering to the databas ( i.e no torres) or the Match Engine as well ?
