Awesome stuff. I'm really looking forward to their new album this year.

I'm not listening to anything at the mo, being at work, but the last thing I listened to was Sky Larkin's The Golden Spike album, which is great.

Ye ive just got into them....have got a handful of there albums and there all really good.
Also looking forward to Sky Larkins album to...been waiting a while for it...

Recently other than Sonic Youth, been listening to Joy Division, White Lies, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Have you got Sister or Evol? They're two of my favourites, alongside Daydream Nation and Goo.

Also, both Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Joy Division are mint. There's a new Yeah Yeah Yeahs album this year too. As for White Lies - I'm not convinced yet, the single sounded a bit too much like The Killers/U2, neither of which I'm a fan of.

I have sister, daydream nation, goo and dirty.......yeh Yeah Yeah Yeahs new album is due in march i fink...
White Lies sound more like Editors to me.......but if u fink they sound like killers or U2 im not surprised u dnt like them cos there both pants.

but then i looked at last weeks chart on my sig which has IB and Bloc party, although...

Id argue IB is alt but liked by the indie masses for TSR and his general monkey coolness and I was listening to Bloc Parties new album so I could rate it...2/5
