I have both Fabregas and Sneijder in Arsenal 2011/2012.
Currently playing Sneijder AMC (Advanced playmaker support), Cesc LCM ( Deep playmaker support)
Cesc is currently set as my Team's playmaker.
Advanced player instructions for Cesc set on default for that role, except Roam from position (Yes) , Cross Ball (rarely), Forward Runs (Sometimes)
Current Formation / Roles (Midfield onwards, Defence is standard back four)
CM: Cesc LCM (Deep support), Song RCM (Centre Mid Defend)
AM: Navas AMR (Wing Attack), Sneijder AMC (Advanced playmaker support), Arshavin AML (Inside Fwd)
STC: Dzeko (Complete Attack)
Subs (related to positions above): Neymar, Wilshire, Van Persie, Vela, Lukaku, Ramsey, Nasri
Tactics of note: Control, Short Pasing, Fluid, Defence line push up, More Roaming, Float Crosses
Question 1 (Cesc in my tactics / formation):
How do I get the best out of Cesc (or both players) in my game ? Sneijder doing ok averaging rating >7.20 but Cesc average rating around 6.90. Sneijder plenty of assists and goals but not the case for Cesc. I watch the Full Games and looks like all he does is play tiki taka with Song without moving from position.
Question 2 (more than 1 Advanced Playmaker):
Would my team be unbalanced if I played TWO Advanced Playmakers? Would my defence be left exposed? What if both are set to Advanced Playmakers Support?
Question 3 (Dzeko):
Is it appropriate to play Dzeko in Complete Fwd in my above formation? Or should I play him as Target Man? His stats and other comments on this forum seem to suggest Target Man is his best position. But with my tactics and formation is it appropriate to play a lone striker Target Man or is Complete Forward better?
My understanding is that a Target Man works best if played alongside another striker. Am I getting this wrong? I think that playing him as a Target Man in lone striker formation, he seems to be doing very little, and my midfield seem to lack options to pass to. But he seems a little on the slower side for a Complete Fwd.
(I set him as Complete Fwd, but changed settings for Cross - rarely, Through balls - sometimes)
