What Roles and Duties Best suit my players?

A midfield of Andrea Poli, Cesc Fabregas & Marek Hamsik in a 4-3-3 formation?

That is a very good midfield mate, but you have to get a holding midfielder . Andrea Pirlo - DMC - Deep Lying Playmaker - Support
Marek Hamsik - MC - Advanced Playmaker - Attack
Andrea Poli - DMC - Deep Lying Playmaker - Support
 
I am playing with Liverpool. I have bought in Tevez, so I need to know how to fit him in with Torres and Suarez if possible. I was thinking Torres in the middle as an Advanced Forward, with Tevez and Suarez playing just behind him either side. But not sure what roles to give them all.
 
Luis Suarez - Advanced Forward or Poacher
Carlitos Tevez - Trequartista or poacher

Are you saying sell Fabregas and buy Pirlo?!

If I'm playing against a top team I normally bring Ramsey in and drop Poli into DM and only have 2 strikers.

But with my strike force and this midfield I'm cruising against weaker sides at the moment.

No No No mate, all I am saying is that you a midfield destroyer, Anthony Annan type of midfielder, because those 3 are all very creative players, but if the team is playing good, keep it that way :)
 
What's the difference between Attacking Midfielder/Attack and Advanced Playmaker/Attack? Surely a playmakers job is to supply the forwards, but if you have him set to attack doesn't that mean he's more likely to go for goal himself? So you may as well make him an Attacking Midfielder.
 
What's the best way to play Abel Hernandez? I'm Aston Villa and playing a 4-1-2-1-2. I have Agbonlahor as target man and tried Hernandez as a poacher and even switched them around. After about 10 games Hernandez is yet to score. If it's any use I have Ireland behind them as a trequartista - attack (or attacking mid - support for away games). I'm doing well but my goals are all in midfield.

I have played Abel Hernandez Poacher in some saves and he is outstanding, don't see what the problem is, maybe try him Treq or Complete Forward? XD...

What year is it and how long do you have him?
I got him second season and he was beyond ****.
Next summer i was about to list him when he got actually performing :P
Only play him as stcr poacher with target man to feet and stay forward

It's 2010/11 on a 'fun save'. I've put him in the reserves to see if that worked but he just whinged and I don't really want to sell him as I want to develop him as much as I can. I've played 4 more matches since I posted and still no improvement, Richard Dunne has more goals :S Would it be worth getting maybe Carew to tutor him?
 
This is one of my new players this season and i don't really know wich position that suites him best, what do you think?

try him as a deep lying forward - support

as he's not very fast and not that good in the air.
 
Hello I am Managing Villarreal(2011-2012.)
Prefers formation 4-1-2-1-2.

DMC = deep lying playmaker = Bruno.

RM = Advanced playmaker = Clement Griener / Cani

LM = Ball winning midfielder = Marcos senna / Kara / Carlos marchena (occasionally)

AMC = Inside forward / Att mid = Ivan raktic / Kakuta (loan)

ST1 = Trequartista = Nilmar / Rossi

ST2 = Advanced forward = Altidore / Ruben

They only score 1 to 2 goals per game. is there any way to make them score more by altering there player roles and duties?

3 Non Europe Players are in the starting 11.( cannot register anymore brazil, russian players)
