I would usually play him as an advanced playmaker but all my coaches and scouts reckon i should be using him as a deep lying playmaker.

In my experience, playing Lampard as a Cent-Mid (Atk) yields much more goals. so far he has scored 32 goals for me in two season before his decline. works better if AMC position is not filled

Well a feature that I have come to love in FM 12 is the new scout reports. They tell me Lampard is best as DLP - Support. I edited the options giving him more forward runs, not to hold the ball up (my BWM does that), less through balls and more long shots. Yet my Lampsy ain't banging em in like real life. I'm struggling getting the best out of Mereiles as well. Sometimes his morale just drops for no reason, he is unhappy on the pitch. Lampard obviously is more professional and isn't like that. Anyone know how to get my Lampsy owning?

Im bringing in Gylfi Sigurdsson after season 1 for Sunderland. I agreed a €10 million fee, main reason being the lack of quality at set pieces and lack of an attacking general behind my two strikers. Atm im using Stephane Sessegnon who is a good goal scorer (pl:21 g:11 as:6) but through ball wise a no-brainer, he plays like a deep poacher. Does
anyone have any advice on how to make him excel behind two strikers role-wise??
