Looking for a team in the top division of England/Italy/Spain that won't take too long getting into European competition. A team that either has fallen from grace to mediocrity or a team on the up. Min budget of 5m

Easy teams: Corinthians; Santos

On the up: Atlético Mineiro; Fluminense

Need some fixes: Grêmio; Internacional; São Paulo;

Lots of work: Vasco; Botafogo; Cruzeiro; Flamengo; Palmeiras; Bahia

Chance to get relegated: Coritiba; Náutico; Ponte Preta; Portuguesa; Sport; Atlético Goianiense; Figueirense

What I try to do is to attempt managing the lowest tiered club that I know well. For example, last year I was Athletic Bilbao, but not just because it was a challenge, but also because I knew most of the players and had a plan for the club. I think that that's what you should aim for. Generally speaking, I usually manage my fav. club towards the end/middle of my career.

top division team from ukraine, croatia, russia or holland? any suggestions?

CSKA Moskva. Good squad, but will be a challenge to compete with the finances of Zenit and Anzi Mahkalakalakalakalakalakalakala

From Spain, Germany, Italy, France or England. In order of preference Ger-Ita-Eng-Spa-Fra, being the bigger difference between Spa and Fra, the rest is a very small preference.

A team that is biggish so that one doesn't have to spend seasons building up its strength but that isn't at the start so strong it is easy to win anything.

One side I'm thinking I might like would be Inter, as they're having a poor season afaik, but then the FM incarnation may be stronger than what RL team is showing.

Germany has the appeal I've not managed there yet. Same happens with France, but I kind of dislike their league (no real reason).

I'm feeling the itch to play a bit of them, though not abandoning any of my current two games.

Have you thought of Wolfsburg. Decent squad, budget but poor morale and communication. Interesting save

Bristol rovers is a good one to have a go with for a league 2 side

Thank you guys.

I'll have a look at Wolfsburg and Valencia and decide between the two. Wolfsburg has advantage for league, though knowing more about Valencia (I'm Spanish) provides a small point in their favour. So it will be on what "feeling" I get looking at them.

Bristol City is not an option, because the point is that I have two saves that are still at lower leagues and I'm feeling an itch to have some top level experience. But thanks for the suggestion all the same :)

Country: England/Italy/Spain/Belguim/France
Tier: League 2 or up for England, Top divisions for others stated
Financial: Stable
Prediction: Not Fussed

Would prefer a fairly decent team i.e A Team with a decent enough spine, Im just looking for a team where i could put my past Exp as Sunday league or Semi pro & The players would still respond... If thats even possible on the leagues stated, If not I'm open to suggestions P.s Sorry about the English PPS - Ignore my post in Football Manger 2012 Wrong thread :$

Hopefully you can do both mate... :)

Hey Guys.

I am looking for a save where I am the best team in a one team league, but it is going to struggle for me to be able to win the Champions LEague. I really enjoyed Linfield last year, but dont want to do that again.

Have recently started playing FM again after my computer was fixed, and have there or there abouts picked up all the new information that I needed to learn about the difference between FM 12 & 13.

I would like to start with a bit of a challenge, and would like some recommendations on a team in the following criteria:

- Blue Square North or South
- Media predicted team of mid table to table topping
- Medium/Large squad
- Decent facilities
- Financially stable

I have absolutely no knowledge of that league or indeed of lower leagues in general really so I need a team that I can consolidate my non-existent knowledge with.

Thoughts please? :)

I like Bayern Munich for you. Players have been together for a while now. Decent budget in your price range. Excellent youth facilities.
