Hey guys im bored atm ive taken wolves to glory taken Bristol city nearly to glory and Aston villa close just i have no want to play the saves anymore i need a new team im up to any suggestions just looking for a fun save i could stick with

Country: England/Italy/Spain/Holland/France
Tier: 2nd tier

Finally got the game and I'm looking to get right into a long term save. I want a team with good facilities and a decent budget so I can start rebuilding. Would prefer a team with some kind of history or a growing reputation. Would prefer if it were a smaller squad as well so getting rid of deadwood wouldn't be too much of a task.

Try Frieburg, they're a Bundesliga team, reasonable finances and room to grow with a decent manager.
Rangers, take them back to the SPL and then Champions League?
Any team in Spain that isn't Barcelona, Real or Athletico. Break the top 2/3 and make the league more interesting.
A few ideas there:D

I am struggling to get into this game. I want a team that is fun to manage. Second tier in any of the big nations/top tier of secondary nations. Please help.

Anyone able to reccomend a team from any league in: Poland, Austria, slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Israel, or the entire region of Scandanavia. I want a challenge in a different league where I can build up a team into European champions while building up the reputation of the league and country. Preferably a club with decent facilities and not a giant squad. I want to build upon a youth network and only sign players when I need to. This is a plan in the pipeline but I just want ideas now.

How about Stromsgodset in Norway? I've never tried, but IRL they have a decent young squad on their way up, and probably decent facilities and economy (for norwegian league)
They also have a farmer/development agreement with Man City, wich allows you to get good talent on loan when needed.

Think I'm gonna try them myself, when I get bored of my Southampton save.

That sounds superb! I might just start a save with them once my laptop is fixedand I finish my Rangers in England story.

I was hoping for somewhere like Bulgaria/Austria where the national team isn't up to much either. I know Norway aren't world beaters, but they're of a higher standard.

Anyone able to check facilities for clubs in Austria/Bulgaria/Hungary/etc for me?

Well, I don't know about the 'higher' standard (I'm Norwegian)... In real life, we'll meet Albania at home in a couple of hours, so we'll see after that ;)
But you might be right when it comes to FM. In my experience, Norway and norwegian players have been delightfully overrated since the 2008 version. IRL, there aren't many players like Solskjaer and Hangeland...

Bulgaria and Austria don't make too much impact that often. Norway do sometimes, but I'm from Scotland so it's easy for me to say Norway are of a higher standard :D Norway in the game are well fed with talent from what I have seen. I want a challenge where I manage club and country, so I can drag them out of obscurity, and Bulgaria/Austria/Slovenia etc are more obscure, both in their leagues and national teams. I'm hoping theres a club in a lesser footballing country that has good facilities, it would be a great challenge. Good luck to Norway tonight! Scotland are playing Wales, but I'm not bothered. Until the SFA chiefs are gone I won't be supporting them.

Have a look at Red Bull Zalsburg (Austria). Even have good norwegian talent ;) (Haavard Nilsen and Valon Berisha)
Good luck with Scotland tonight! Even though you're not supporting them on principal reasons, I'm guessing you wouldn't be sad to see your country win... :D

I had considered Salzburg, but they have ruined that club with turning it into a brand. One of the many sad casualties of modern football. I always hope Scotland win, but it's hard to watch them knowing what the authorities did to Rangers. One day I'll watch with anticipation again, hopefully soon. Norway should win by a few tonight surely!

I don't know who to be anymore, I was thinking CSKA Moscow or a team with a similar reputation
help?!
