Where did all the posts go?

Hi guys. Could I ask where the post number has gone. I have not been on for a while and when I returned I noticed that the 'number of posts' section of everyone's post is now. Well gone. Is it my eyes or computer playing tricks on me or could I please know if the removal of them is temporary or permanent and if one the latter then for what reason have they been removed? Thanks.

P.S: If a post for this already exists then please tell me where because I did search extensively.
 
Sean decided to get rid of it because there is sometimes discrimination towards people with a low amount of posts, you can view how many you have on your profile
 
Discrimination against people with low post counts. What a load of ****:P we can still tell who have low posts anyway.
 
i kinda liked it but you can see why he did it. Fair enough! But you can still check the if youre that bothered so all is good.
 
Well done to Sean and other staff members who agreed for removing the post count from member's profiles. Hopefully now this will be a less spam filled environment.

Because so many morons on this forum are so big on having a large number under their forum avatars that they make pointless comments in threads (Sometimes repeating what somebody has said in an above post).

Because some people only post to boost there post count like it means something, Or makes them better than everyone else.

Post Counts really amount to nothing.
 
:P I thought you might say that. I don't really think their is anyone on this site who posts simply so the number under their avatar increases by 1.
 
P.S: The improvement of changing 'thank' to 'like' really does make more sense. And honestly because some saddos want more posts doesn't mean the rest of us should suffer. Gah!!

Fatshit kind of proved the point, he regarded the removal of our post counts as us 'suffering'.

That suggests that he cares about that little number does it not?
 
Glad its gone to be honest, seen alot of spam thread lately so thanks for the moderators who closed them. If you really care about your post count just look at your profile all day lol.

That little number MADE the site. I fear change; and I resent people saying that you are bullied over post count. When I joined I wasn't bullied for that or disliked. That occured because of my vulgar comments and the retribution of DC and a few others.
 
If your post count means so much to you it's in your profile.
 
I gotta admit that in a sad way it is kind of nice to have the number of posts their but my point is that i don't think anyone posts just so their post count goes up. People post when they have an opinion on something or need to ask a question or can answer somebody else question not just whenever because they want their postcount to go up.
