Im looking for a team with low expectations but high world reputation (so can attract quality players from the offf).
Budget not so important.
Would prefer either La Liga, Serie A, EPL or Championship.

Multiple suggestions would be appreciated so I have a few options.

Thanks guys! :)

Edit: in case relevant: patch 10.3

Started to get bored of FM recently.

What's the hardest team to manage in the game?
I'll take the Chinese 4th division. Don't care, just something that will be challenging/near impossible to work with.

There are a lot of hard challenges out there, but personally i tend to avoid ones in Greece, Russia, Korea, China, and anywhere else where it's impossible to remember your players' names lol (H)

Why don't you try somewhere in South America where they have spanish names.

Or have you tried the US? Learning their weird transfer system is challenging enough (drafts etc..) but they also have the MLS split vertically (east and west) into two tiny leagues (almost like season-long group stages) until the playoffs at the end.

Crayzziieee!! oO)

Edit: That said, if you don't mind the whole names thing, Greece has one of the most uncompetitive leagues in the world. Olympiakos have won the league there something like 12 times in the last 13 seasons!!!!! So start as the poorest, s**tiest team in the bottom Greek league available and try to win the top league within 4 seasons or the Europa Cup in 6 seasons??

Also the biggest challenges are the ones that don't allow for foreign players or at least place severe restrictions on them.

Or you could take charge of Athletic in Spain who can only sign players with Basque nationality - never tried that one myself but its on my list lol.

Another idea is to take over a doomed club at a different point in the season by selecting view-only leagues which start at differerent times - some start as early as 2008 and some as late as 2010 - check it out on the new game screen - you don't actually have to manage in those countries to be able to use their season-start date for your game as long as they are selected.

Im just looking for a rich team in a low league
Any country
Preferbly Europe

If you want something different try Dundee. Not hugely rich but they do have a lot more than the other first division clubs.

Yeh i have had a little look at them .. But nothing really happened if you know what i mean ..

Anymore mate ??

really want to get a game going :D

On my old computer I did a game starting with Hibernian, then moving to Genoa and then Valencia and then AC Milan so building my way up. However the computer crashed and I have to restart on FM 2010 so I was wanting to start with a club that would be a stepping stone onto a better club, like Hibernian who would struggle to win the SPL but are in the Europa League and can challenge for the domestic cups. Any ideas?

League: Europe (Preferably not England, Spain or Italy)
Budget: Any
Position: Mid table
Facilities: Don't mind
