Which Team Should I Be?

National wise germany with the real players is the best a couple of years after winning the world cup i got offered the sevilla job all good so far :-)

Currently trying to pull Eastleigh out of Blue Square South. ****** good.
There's a long and tiring run before you can actually settle down and get the team further.

I was previously in charge of Man City. Got so blasé I sold the whole squad & staff, only keeping the youth.
Consequently, Manure trashed me 20-0 before getting marching orders.

Never been happier.
 
So i was beginning a new game on FM10, but i don't know what to play or in what league.
I already managed Man.City and Real Madrid and i didn't succeed very much, and i always coach FC Porto (:D)

Maybe an Italian team struggling to stay in the Serie A or fighting for Europe.
Could use advices :D

You could start with Udinese or Livorno. Or better, give a Serie B club a shot to offer them Serie A football. Don't see the joy always managing the same top drawer teams, if not for a laugh. 'Know what I mean?
 
Medium level random team?
Can't be bothered to do a lower league challenge, top tier, anywhere.. (in Europe) - Mid - Top table.

i can recommend some italian teams fighting for Europe, try Fiorentina, Genoa or Palermo.

Like i'm doing with Boavista x) sounds like a nice challenge..

Genoa or Palermo.. Fiorentina has a great team, only beaten by Juve, Inter and AC Milan

Be tottenham they have a good team and if you can keep modric happy and keep him at the club you will do good as your strikers get slot of goals
 
Not really asking about choosing a team.

Season: 2009-10: Bradford (L2)...won the league, got promoted. Swtiched to Portsmouth at the end of the season by delaying the joining.

Season 2010-11: Portsmouth (EPL)...told the board that I would avoid relegation, but I managed to achieve a safe mid-table position.

As expected, there are no offers for me this time. The lower reputation clubs probably know I won't join them and the higher ones are not interested in me. Or maybe they are happy with their managers.

I managed to bring the club finances from -$10M to $15M now. However, a loan of $78M is due in 2012 and I don't see it being paid off. Surprisingly, the board is willing to offer me a transfer budget of $34M and wage budget of $675K for the minimum expectation of a safe mid-table position.

Ah well, if necessary, I can always do a Harry Redknap ;)

Is there any point to choosing higher season expectations other than getting higher transfer and wage budgets? I don't want to fail. Better be safe than sorry.

Interestingly, the board has also consented to improve the training, youth training facilities as well as expanding the stadium. Where on earth are they going to get the money? Not my concern, no? ;)

Really need help im getting quite disheartened as i dont see myself as a bad manager on here but recently after a while off things go awful very quickly.
So i need an easy challenge in which i can have fun and sign some decent players and most importantly a long lasting game thanks x
 
Hey all, I'm looking for a middle of the pack, german/dutch team that I can build (mostly with non EU talent), who are also capable of signing good youngsters. I was thinking AZ, psv, but not sure about what team in Germany, maybe 1860 munchen and work up a level.

or I could go with a spanish B team and try to work my way to main team coach.

any suggestions?
 
I'm looking at Hoffenheim, Sc heerenveen ($10 million transfer budget), and PSV

Leeds, it's easy to succeed, and easy to get successive promotions
 
Im Looking for a team that completely Dominates their League-must be in europe but their league is not the strongest for example Celtic or Rangers however I dont want to go them , As I want to attempt to win a European Trophy with them.

Any Suggestions ?
